Chris Pratt's Sci-Fi Movies, Ranked

Chris Pratt's Sci-Fi Movie Career: A Ranking From Worst to Best

Chris Pratt is no stranger to science fiction, having starred in a whopping 21 films within the genre. While some may not even remember his involvement in certain movies, others have catapulted him to stardom and solidified his place as one of Hollywood's most bankable stars.

Coming in at the bottom of our list are two films that showcase Pratt's ability to be forgettable: "Passengers" (2016) and "The Garfield Movie" (2024). The former, despite its promising premise, falls flat due to Pratt's character being marred by loneliness and selfishness. As for the latter, it feels like a lazy casting choice that doesn't quite live up to its potential.

Moving on up the list are two films that, while not his best work, still show promise: "The Electric State" (2025) and "Jurassic World Dominion" (2022). The former is an eye-popping, if flawed, Netflix movie that Pratt brings a certain charm to. On the other hand, the latter is a conclusion to Pratt's personal "Jurassic" trilogy that is more frustrating than satisfying.

As we continue upwards, we find ourselves in films that show Pratt's range and chemistry with co-stars: "The Tomorrow War" (2021), which boasts an inventive premise despite not quite living up to it; "Onward" (2020), a heartwarming Pixar film that utilizes Pratt's voice acting to great effect.

Next up are two films that cement Pratt's place as one of Marvel's most beloved stars: "Avengers: Endgame" (2019) and "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" (2023). While not his best work, both films showcase Pratt's ability to carry a scene or deliver memorable lines.

Moving on to more animated fare, we find ourselves in two films that solidify Pratt's voice acting prowess: "The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part" (2019) and, most importantly, the original "Guardians of the Galaxy" (2014). It is the latter that catapulted Pratt from goofy TV guy to full-fledged action hero.

At the top of our list sits "Guardians of the Galaxy," a film that not only launched Pratt's career but also set the bar for Marvel Studios movies. Its clever writing, memorable characters, and Pratt's undeniable charm make it an instant classic.

In conclusion, while Chris Pratt has had his share of flops in the sci-fi genre, his best work remains firmly rooted in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With films like "Guardians of the Galaxy" leading the charge, Pratt has proven himself to be a versatile and bankable star capable of carrying even the most ambitious projects to success.

I think Chris Pratt's film choices have been pretty hit or miss ๐Ÿค”, but I can see where he shines - especially in those Marvel movies like Avengers: Endgame and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 ๐Ÿ’ฅ. He really brings a certain energy to the screen that works well for superhero films. On the other hand, Passengers was just meh ๐Ÿ˜... I don't know what happened with that one. Maybe if he had more screen time and less solo stuff, it would've been better? idk ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ. Overall, I think he's still got some great films under his belt to look forward to!

pratt's got some solid sci-fi cred imo ๐Ÿค–. you gotta respect how he bounced back from some forgettable flicks like passengers & garfield movie ๐Ÿ‘Ž. but seriously, his chemistry with co-stars is on point in movies like onward (that pixar magic ๐ŸŒŸ) and the tomorrow war (premise was inventive, even if it didn't quite live up ๐Ÿค”). guardians of the galaxy vol 3 is a close second to the original - that charm & charisma just shines through ๐Ÿ’ซ. what's your fave Pratt flick?

omg i'm still reeling from that ranking lol "The Garfield Movie" is literally the WORST ๐Ÿคฃ i mean who thought casting chris pratt as garfield was a good idea? i mean don't get me wrong, he's hilarious in his other sci-fi roles, but this one just fell flat for me. and on the flip side, "The Electric State" was kinda cool, even if it was flawed ๐Ÿค” still would've watched more of that movie tho

๐Ÿค” I think it's pretty interesting that Chris Pratt has had his share of flops in sci-fi movies ๐Ÿšฎ "Passengers" and "The Garfield Movie" being two of them ๐Ÿ˜. But on the other hand, films like "Jurassic World Dominion" didn't really do it for me either... it felt kinda meh ๐Ÿ˜ด. What I love about Pratt is how he's able to bring a certain charm to his roles, especially in animated movies ๐ŸŽฌ like "The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part" and "Guardians of the Galaxy". His chemistry with co-stars is also on point ๐Ÿ”ฅ. And let's be real, who can forget that iconic line from "Guardians of the Galaxy"? ๐Ÿ’ซ It's safe to say that Pratt's best work is definitely in the Marvel Cinematic Universe ๐ŸŒŸ.

idk why they even included The Garfield Movie in this list lol what were they thinking?? that movie was trash ๐Ÿคฎ and another thing, Chris Pratt's sci-fi movies all seem kinda hit or miss to me, like some are just okay but others are straight up boring ๐Ÿ˜ด and don't even get me started on Passengers, that whole "lonely guy in space" thing is so overdone already โ„๏ธ

omg I'm still trying to figure out what's up with Chris Pratt lol he was so annoying in passengers ๐Ÿคฃ and that garfield movie was literally just him being there ๐Ÿ™„ but then you have movies like jurassic world dominion where he's actually kinda good ๐Ÿ‰ and avengers endgame which is just pure awesomeness ๐Ÿ’ฅ i mean what can't the guy do?! he's also super funny in lego movies ๐Ÿ˜‚ and that guardians of galaxy movie was literally game changing for him ๐Ÿ’ซ so yeah, gotta agree with the ranking ๐Ÿ‘

I was really surprised by how much I loved Guardians of the Galaxy back when it came out ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ‘ฝ...I mean, who would've thought that this goofy guy from TV would become an action hero? ๐Ÿคฃ And then there's Onward, I loved watching Chris Pratt's character grow into a more serious role as a dad ๐Ÿคดโ€โ™‚๏ธ. But seriously, what happened to all the sci-fi movies he was in back in the day? Passengers was so meh...I don't get why it didn't work out ๐Ÿค”. Anyway, I'm glad his best stuff is still in those Marvel movies...they're just classics! ๐Ÿ‘

I gotta say, Chris Pratt's sci-fi movie career is kinda like life itself - full of ups and downs ๐Ÿค”. You got your highs, like "Guardians of the Galaxy" which just blew him up into a superstar ๐Ÿ’ฅ, but then you got your lows, like "Passengers" which just meh'd all over the place ๐Ÿšซ.

But for real though, what's wild is how he went from being that goofy guy on TV to becoming this bankable star ๐Ÿค‘. It's like he tapped into something deeper within himself and just ran with it ๐Ÿ’ช. And I think that's what makes his best work so special - it's not just about the movies themselves, but about the person behind them.

It's also interesting to think about how Chris Pratt's career mirrors our own lives, you know? We all have those moments where we're like "Passengers" - stuck in a rut, feeling lost ๐Ÿคฏ. But then we find that spark within ourselves and just go for it ๐Ÿ”ฅ. That's what makes his best work so inspiring, I guess.

Anyway, kudos to Chris Pratt for being one of the most consistent sci-fi stars out there ๐Ÿ™Œ. Keep pushing yourself creatively, dude! ๐ŸŽฌ

๐Ÿค” I think it's so great that Chris Pratt has found his groove in sci-fi movies! ๐Ÿš€ He really brings this lovable guy charm to the screen that makes you wanna root for him no matter what. And can we talk about how awesome he is at voicing animated characters? ๐Ÿ˜‚ "Guardians of the Galaxy" will always hold a special place in my heart, and I love how it launched his career into superstar status ๐ŸŒŸ His chemistry with co-stars is top-notch, especially in movies like "Onward". What's your fave Chris Pratt movie? ๐Ÿค—

omg, i'm low-key hyped about chris pratt's movie career lol! he went from being just a goofy guy on tv to becoming a full-on action hero ๐Ÿคฏ! and i love how he's proven himself in both sci-fi and animated movies ๐ŸŒŸ "Guardians of the Galaxy" is literally one of my fave movies of all time - who wouldn't want to watch petry and groot duo with chris pratt ๐Ÿ˜‚? but idk why he was so bad in "passengers" tho? like, what went wrong there ๐Ÿค”? anyway, i think it's dope that he's still got a lot of great movies under his belt even if some are more forgettable than others ๐Ÿ’ฏ

I think Guardians of the Galaxy is hands down the best movie Chris Pratt's ever been in ๐Ÿคฉ. He just nails Peter Quill's goofy charm and wit. And let's be real, who can forget that awesome soundtrack? The way he carries that film to greatness is truly impressive. I mean, sure "Avengers: Endgame" is a close second, but there's something special about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 that just gets me every time ๐Ÿ˜Š. Pratt really made Peter Quill his own and it shows in this movie ๐ŸŽฅ

I gotta say, I love how Chris Pratt's film career is like life - you've got your ups and downs ๐Ÿคฉ. We all have moments where we're stuck in a rut (like that one movie where he felt lonely and selfish), but then we get given another chance to shine ๐Ÿ’ช. And let me tell you, when we do finally find our groove, it's like winning the Oscar (or at least a whole lot of fan love ๐ŸŽฅ). The thing is, not everyone gets to experience that feeling of being on top - some people just don't quite make it to the top of the list. But here's the thing: it's how we respond to those setbacks that matters. Do we let them break us or do we learn from them and come back stronger? That's where I think Chris Pratt's career really shines through - he takes his hits, dusts himself off, and comes back swinging ๐Ÿ’ฅ.

omg u gotta see chris pratt's transformation from "passengers" ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ˜ด to "guardians of the galaxy" ๐Ÿค–๐Ÿ”ฅ he went from being kinda meh in sci-fi movies to becoming a full-on action hero ๐ŸŽฅ๐Ÿ’ฅ and it's all thanks to marvel studios bringing out his best ๐Ÿ™Œ what can i say, chris pratt is just too lovable ๐Ÿค—
