Singer Sabrina Carpenter Made a Heartwarming Appearance to Support 'Girl Meets World' Co-Star Corey Fogelmanis at His New Movie Premiere.
Pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter put aside her concert schedule to show support for a close friend from her Disney Channel days. The "Short N' Sweet" singer was spotted joining her former co-star Corey Fogelmanis, 26, at the premiere of his new movie, "I Wish You All The Best," in New York City.
The two actors starred together in the hit Disney show "Girl Meets World," which aired for three seasons from 2014 to 2017. Carpenter and Fogelmanis' characters were part of a popular cast that catapulted both performers into stardom.
Although Carpenter didn't attend the red carpet, sources claim she sneaked in through a back door just before the movie started to sit beside her friend. The pop star is also set to perform four sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden this week.
In "I Wish You All The Best," Fogelmanis plays a high school junior who comes out as nonbinary and faces rejection from his family. He finds love and acceptance at their new high school, played by Fogelmanis' estranged older sister. The film was written and directed by "Thirteen Reasons Why" alum Tommy Dorfman, who has spoken publicly about her own experiences with identity and support.
When asked exclusively about the movie's impact on promoting understanding and acceptance of queer youth, Dorfman expressed hope that the film will contribute to a greater social shift in how people perceive the LGBTQ+ community. She emphasized the importance of giving each other space to find autonomy and confidence, while also cherishing love and support.
The premiere was attended by several notable figures, including Lena Dunham, Amy Landecker, Alexandra Daddario, David Burtka, Richard Schiff, and "Mayor of Kingstown" star Bria Condon.

! I mean, they were co-stars on "Girl Meets World" back in the day and it's clear they still care about each other. Corey's new movie is actually looking really powerful, tackling some tough issues with LGBTQ+ youth. It's awesome that Tommy Dorfman wrote and directed it too - she's been vocal about her own experiences and it shows in this film

! Think about it, Sabrina Carpenter, who's been in the spotlight for years, suddenly decides to drop everything and support Corey Fogelmanis at his movie premiere? Coincidence? I don't think so

What if this is more than just friendship? What if there's a hidden agenda here? Maybe she wants to promote her own brand or distract us from something else going on? And what about the timing of this premiere? It couldn't be just a coincidence that it's happening right before her sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden
