Stars of the Under-17 Women's World Cup: A Fresh Wave of Talent Emerge from Around the Globe

Morocco has witnessed an exciting spectacle so far in the 2025 Under-17 Women's World Cup, with several talented young players showcasing their skills and leaving a lasting impression on fans. Among these standouts are six players who have already etched their names in the tournament's history books.

Giulia Galli of Italy is one such player who has caught everyone's attention. The 17-year-old has demonstrated exceptional goalscoring ability, breaking through hesitant defensive lines with her uncanny knack and clinical finishing skills inside the box. Her impressive performance for both club and country has earned her a spot in the semi-finals of this summer's Under-17 European Championship, which also booked Italy's entry into the World Cup.

Giovanna Waksman from Brazil is another name that resonates with fans of youth football. The 16-year-old forward has consistently showcased her natural talent and understanding of the game, as well as her goal-scoring prowess. Her impressive debut for Brazil's Under-17s at the age of 14 has been followed by notable performances in key games against Italy and China.

Kim Won-sim from North Korea is also reaping the rewards of her team's hard work, using her technical ability to devastating effect in their group stage victories. The 15-year-old's tireless work rate and sharp instincts have made her a pivotal player for her nation, with impressive displays that mirror those of her predecessors.

Carlota Chácon from Spain is another breakout star who has been making headlines in the tournament so far. With four goals scored in the group stages, she has helped her team qualify for the knockouts with ease. The 17-year-old's goalscoring instinct and aerial ability have made her a formidable force to be reckoned with.

Queen Joseph from Nigeria has shown immense potential in this World Cup, showcasing an electric forward presence that can break through hesitant defenses. Her impressive performance against Samoa featured two goals and took her tournament tally to three, marking a crucial turning point for her team's campaign.

Last but not least is Nyanya Touray from the USA. The 17-year-old has continued her goal-scoring form for her national team, ending this summer's Four Nations Tournament as top scorer. With four goals scored in the group stages, she now stands just one goal away from equalling the record scored by an American at an Under-17 Women's World Cup.

These six players have undoubtedly made a lasting impression on fans and will be keeping a watchful eye on their progress as they navigate the challenges of the tournament ahead.

OMG, these young stars are SO talented!!! 🤩 I'm loving the fact that we're seeing a fresh wave of talent from around the globe at the Under-17 Women's World Cup. Giulia Galli's goalscoring skills are simply insane 😲 and Giovanna Waksman's natural ability is impressive. Kim Won-sim's work rate and instincts are giving me chills 💪, while Carlota Chácon's aerial ability is a game-changer 🤸‍♀️. And let's not forget Queen Joseph's electric forward presence - she's got the magic ✨! The USA's Nyanya Touray is also on fire 🔥, and I'm excited to see how these young players continue to develop and grow throughout the tournament. Bring it on! 👏

OMG u guys, I'm literally OBSESSED with these young stars!!! Giulia Galli is EVERYTHING and more! She's got that IT factor 😍. And Giovanna Waksman from Brazil? Girl crush alert 🤩! Her skills are insane on the field. Kim Won-sim from North Korea is so underrated, but she's bringing the heat 🔥 with her technical ability. Carlota Chácon from Spain is just a goal-scoring machine 🚀, and Queen Joseph from Nigeria is electric ⚡️! And Nyanya Touray from the USA? She's got the record-breaking form 💪. I'm so excited to see what the rest of the tournament holds for these young talents 👏

I don’t usually comment but I was like "who is that young player from Brazil? Giovanna Waksman?" 🤔 She's literally so talented and has been dominating games since she was 14! And I love how Italy's Giulia Galli has caught everyone's attention too, her finishing skills are insane 💥. It's crazy to think about all these young players making a name for themselves in the tournament. You can tell they're really passionate about the game and it's infectious 🏆

🤯 I'm loving these youngbloods out there, but what's with all the focus on just the goal-scorers? I think we're missing out on the amazing midfield play from players like Kim Won-sim and Giorgia Rizzo from France 🇫🇷. They're the ones controlling the tempo of the game, dictating the pace and creating scoring chances for their teammates. Don't get me wrong, these goal-scoring talents are incredible, but we need to recognize the importance of solid midfield play in youth football. 💪

I'm so hyped for Nyanya Touray from the USA too - she's got that American football girl-next-door charm 😊 but still brings it on the pitch! And let's not forget about the others, like Gianni... err, I mean Giulia 👀!

Anyway, can't wait to see these talented young players take on the world 🌎! Who else is loving this tournament? 🤗
