MLB World Series Game 4: Toronto Blue Jays beat LA Dodgers 6-2 to level at 2-2

Toronto Blue Jays have levelled the MLB World Series at 2-2 with a convincing 6-2 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers in game four. Vladimir Guerrero Jr's early two-run homer and a glut of runs in the seventh inning helped the Blue Jays come from behind, forcing the series to return to Toronto for a sixth game.

The Dodgers had taken an early lead after Enrique Hernandez's sacrifice fly scored Max Muncy in the bottom of the second inning. However, Guerrero stepped up with a towering shot over left centre field to make it 2-1. The Blue Jays then poured on runs, with Andres Gimenez, Ty France, Bo Bichette and Addison Barger all driving in to give them breathing space at 6-1 before the seventh-inning stretch.

The Dodgers briefly threatened a late rally but Toronto closed out the win without major incident. Shohei Ohtani, who was scheduled to double up as starting pitcher and leadoff hitter for the Dodgers, went hitless with the bat and left the pitch in the seventh inning trailing 2-1 and having put two men on base.

Toronto's Shane Bieber showed no favour to the hosts, striking Ohtani out twice and pitching into the sixth inning while giving up just one run. The Blue Jays now head back to Toronto for game five with an equal series standing at 2-2.

I'm loving this World Series so far! 🀩 I mean, come on, a six-run burst in the seventh inning? That's just incredible. And let's give it up for Vladimir Guerrero Jr. - the kid's on fire! His early two-run homer was the turning point in that game, and it's amazing to see how he stepped up when his team needed him most.

And can we talk about Shane Bieber for a sec? πŸ€“ The dude is a beast. Striking out Shohei Ohtani twice? That's like, major league magic. And pitching into the sixth inning while giving up just one run? Unreal. I mean, the Blue Jays have some serious firepower in their lineup, but Bieber's got that ace stuff down pat.

Now, I'm excited to see how this series plays out from here on out. The Dodgers are still a force to be reckoned with, and it's going to take everything the Blue Jays have to come out on top. But man, they're definitely giving it their all right now. Bring on game five! πŸ’ͺ

The Dodgers are really struggling to find their rhythm right now πŸ€”πŸ’‘. They're still a top team in the league, but they need to get their bats going and work together as a unit. It's not just Shohei Ohtani who's under pressure, the whole lineup is feeling it πŸ“‰. Meanwhile, the Blue Jays are really finding their groove with guys like Vladimir Guerrero Jr and Andres Gimenez stepping up to the plate. It'll be interesting to see how the Dodgers adjust their strategy for game five. Maybe they can get some new blood into the lineup or try a different approach against Bieber's strong pitching πŸ”„.

I'm loving how this series is heating up! It's crazy to think that the Blue Jays are making a strong case to bring some Canadian pride to the table. I mean, come on, they've got talent pouring out of every pore - Guerrero Jr, Gimenez, France... it's like they're trying to prove everyone wrong about their chances.

But let's talk about strategy here - what's going on with the Dodgers' leadoff hitter, Shohei Ohtani? He's gotta step up his game if they wanna take down the Jays. And how's this gonna play out when the series shifts back to Toronto? I think the Blue Jays are riding a wave of momentum right now, but you can never count out the Dodgers - they've got some fire power of their own.

It's like the whole MLB is playing politics here - who gets the call-ups, who gets benched... it's all about strategy and timing. Can the Dodgers get back on track in Toronto or will the Blue Jays keep pushing them around?

omg this game was insane!!! vladimir guerreo jr is a total beast 🀯 his two-run homer in the 3rd inning sealed the deal for the blue jays. i'm so hyped that they're heading back to toronto with the series tied at 2-2 can't wait to see what game 5 brings πŸŽ‰ and yeah, shohei ohtani's performance was pretty underwhelming 😐 went hitless and got struck out twice by shane bieber. gotta give it to the blue jays though, they played a solid team effort all game πŸ™Œ

Just can't get enough of Vlad Jr's power 🀩! He stepped up when it mattered most and got those runs on the board for the Jays. And that team effort in the 7th? Unstoppable πŸ’ͺ! The Blue Jays are on fire right now, and I'm loving every minute of it πŸ”₯. Shohei Ohtani showed some wheels on defense, but it just wasn't enough to take down Bieber and the crew πŸ™Œ. Bring on Game 5 in Toronto - can't wait to see what these guys do next! πŸ’₯

Man I'm loving this World Series so far! It's like the good old days when we used to watch these games on TV and our dads would be all excited πŸ˜‚. But for real though, the Blue Jays are putting up some amazing performances. I mean, Vladimir Guerrero Jr is a beast! He reminded me of Jose Bautista back in the day, you know, the guy who hit that walk-off homer in the postseason? 🀩

And can we talk about Shane Bieber? The dude's on fire! Reminds me of Roy Halladay when he was pitching for the Blue Jays, all that speed and control πŸ’¨. I'm loving how the Blue Jays are coming from behind like that too, it's like they're saying "Hey, we're not done yet!" πŸŽ‰

I'm also wondering what would have happened if Shohei Ohtani had a better game? He was supposed to be this superstar leadoff hitter and pitcher, but he just couldn't get it going tonight πŸ˜”. Still, the Dodgers are giving it their all, so I gotta respect that.

Now that we're heading back to Toronto for game 5, I'm getting those memories of watching games at SkyDome... oh man, what a time πŸ’. This is gonna be a close one, folks!

Ugh, Dodgers' playoff hopes are looking slim ⚠️. They can't even get past a rookie pitcher like Bieber? And Shohei Ohtani's subpar performance is just the cherry on top πŸ’. I mean, you're gonna drop two out of three games at home against a young team and now you have to go back east for game 5? Not looking good for them...

omg what a turn of events! I'm loving the vibe of this series so far, both teams have been bringing it 🀩. i mean, Vlad Jr's homer in the top of the 3rd was clutch 😎 and then the Blue Jays just went for broke in the 7th and it paid off big time πŸ†. Bieber on the mound is looking pretty strong too, striking out Ohtani twice! πŸ’ͺ the Dodgers are still in it though, you gotta give 'em credit for not giving up, even when they're down 🀝. now we get to head back to Toronto and see what game 5 brings... can't wait πŸ˜ƒ

the blue jays are on fire 🀯πŸ”₯ they came from behind and shut down the dodgers' late push, what a turnaround! and i gotta say, guerrero's homer was SO iconic βšΎοΈπŸ‘ shohei ohtani looked kinda meh at the plate tho 😐 and what's up with his schedule, starting pitcher AND leadoff hitter? maybe too much pressure for one guy 🀯

Game 4 was all about heart, guys! 🀯 You know what I'm saying? Guerrero Jr's homer was like a wake-up call for the Blue Jays - they were down but not out! And that seventh-inning stretch? Magic, man! It just goes to show you that life is unpredictable and stuff can go south in an instant. But it's how you respond that matters. Did the Blue Jays give up or did they adapt and take control? That's a lesson for us all - when things seem hopeless, keep pushing forward and see what happens next.

And let's be real, Shohei Ohtani had a tough night πŸ€•. It was like he hit a wall out there. But you know what the real hero is? Shane Bieber! The dude pitched his heart out and came out on top πŸ’ͺ. That's the kind of determination we need in life - to push through the tough times and keep going. So, let this be a reminder that it's okay to stumble but it's how you get back up that matters πŸ‹οΈβ€β™‚οΈ.

omg u guyz!!! 🀩 the blue jays r on fire!! i mean, who would've thought they'd be able to come from behind like that? vladimir guerrero jr is literally a superhero πŸ¦Έβ€β™‚οΈ! and let's give it up for shane bieber too - he pitched an insane game with no favours to ohtani πŸ™…β€β™‚οΈ. the energy at the stadium must've been electric! now we get to go back to toronto for game 5, and i'm hyped!! πŸŽ‰ can't wait to see what happens next 😁

I'm not getting my hopes up about this MLB season... πŸ€” All these advanced stats and analytics can't save a team from basic mistakes, like Shohei Ohtani striking out twice when he's got the power to change the game's momentum! 😳 And what's with all the emphasis on player tracking and pitch data? Can't they just focus on developing a solid pitching rotation and decent starting lineups? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

Wow 🀩 those Blue Jays are on fire πŸ”₯ this season! They came from behind and totally shut down the Dodgers in that 7th inning πŸ’ͺ Bieber is a beast on the mound, striking out Ohtani twice is not easy πŸ˜…. I'm loving the Guerrero homer too, he's living up to his dad's legacy 🌟 now it's back to Toronto for game five, can't wait to see what happens next!
