Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce lead Chiefs to 3rd straight NFL win

The Kansas City Chiefs stormed past the Washington Commanders 28-7, extending their winning streak to three games. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes delivered a strong performance, completing 25 of 34 passes for 299 yards and throwing three second-half touchdown passes.

Tight end Travis Kelce had his best game of the season, hauling in six catches for 99 yards and scoring on one play. The Chiefs' receiving corps was bolstered by Rashee Rice's nine catches for 93 yards and a touchdown. Running back Kareem Hunt chipped in with a touchdown catch and score.

Mahomes weathered a difficult first half, throwing two interceptions before halftime. However, he found his rhythm after the break, leading the Chiefs on a series of drives that put the Commanders away.

Washington's quarterback, Marcus Mariota, struggled against the Chiefs' pass rush, completing just 21 of 30 passes for 213 yards and one touchdown in his place-starting role due to Jayden Daniels' injury. The Commanders fell to 3-5 on the season.

The Chiefs are now at 5-3, while Washington's loss extended their losing streak to three games.

man thats crazy what a turnaround for the chiefs mahomes just stepped up and led his team to victory after that rough first half i was on edge but he calmed down and got it done πŸ’ͺ meanwhile washingtons qb marcus mariota just got destroyed by kansas city's pass rush, gotta respect the chiefs defense πŸ‘ and 6 catches for travis kelce is insane what a game for the tight end 🀯 the chiefs are now looking like a real contender with that win

omg u guys i cant believe mahomes is straight flames right now 🀯 he was so off in the first half but he turned it around like a boss after halftime πŸ”₯ and that receiving corps is fire rashee rice is my new fave lol 6 catches for 93 yards and a touchdown? no cap! kareem hunt chipping in with a td catch & score too 🀩 meanwhile washington's marcus mariota just got wrecked by the chiefs pass rush πŸ˜‚ yeah i guess that sucks for them, but at least they still have a chance to turn it around πŸ’ͺ

OMG, Patrick Mahomes is just so extra 🀣 like he's trying out for a role in a superhero movie or something! But seriously, who needs that much drama when you're winning? πŸ™„ The dude can't even have a bad half without turning it around, and we're all left wondering what's in his sauce 🍜. Anyway, the Chiefs are killing it this season, but can they keep up with their own hype? πŸ€” And btw, Marcus Mariota is like, still trying to find his footing... kinda like our favorite NFL QB πŸ˜‰

I don’t usually comment but I think Patrick Mahomes is like a magician out there... 🀯 He just knows how to take over the game when it matters most! And that receiving corps of the Chiefs is so sick! Rashee Rice and Travis Kelce are like a dynamic duo on the field, man! πŸ˜‚ I don’t know what Washington was thinking, letting Mahomes get going in the second half... πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ 28-7 is just crazy, but it's all part of the Chiefs' magic this season. Maybe they can keep that momentum going and make a real push for the playoffs? 🏈 Fingers crossed! πŸ‘

πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ I'm so glad my kids finally understand how football works 🏈! It's been a wild ride trying to explain all the positions and strategies, but that Patrick Mahomes guy is just amazing πŸ’₯. My kid was on the edge of their seat when he threw those third-quarter TDs 😲. And can we talk about the Commanders' D-line? 🀯 Those guys were getting after Marcus Mariota something fierce! Guess they still have a lot to learn from the pros... but at least my kid is having fun watching it all go down πŸ˜‚.

I'm not sure what's more concerning, the fact that the Chiefs are dominating like this or that Mahomes is just winging it in the first half lol 🀣. I mean, two interceptions before halftime? That's sketchy. And what's with all these injuries on both teams? Jayden Daniels goes down and now Marcus Mariota's struggling... it's like the league can't catch a break. And don't even get me started on the stats – 213 yards for Mariota in just 30 passes? That's not winning, that's getting destroyed πŸ˜’.

Ugh, what a joke on the NFL's Sunday Ticket package πŸ“ΊπŸ˜’. I mean, I love watching live games, but can't they find a way to make it work better? I'm stuck in traffic and my internet is buffering like crazy, so I have to watch the game 10 seconds out of sync with everyone else πŸš—πŸ’¨. And don't even get me started on how they always cut off the best part of the game... when the team scores a touchdown! Can't we just stream the whole thing in real-time? πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

Man, it feels like they're back to the good ol days with Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs... you know, just like when Joe Montana used to lead the team to those epic victories 🏈πŸ’ͺ. But seriously, 5-3 is a solid spot for them right now. It's kinda funny how some of these young QBs (Marcus Mariota) struggle against pass rushers πŸ˜‚, reminds me of when guys like Ben Roethlisberger would get sacked by that Pittsburgh defense all the time back in the day 🀣. Anyway, hope Washington can turn it around and not go down 0-4 or something... would be a shame for them 🀞.

Man, Patrick Mahomes is just on another level right now 🀯! I mean, that guy's got a cannon for an arm and can make throws from like, anywhere on the field πŸ”„. And Travis Kelce, what's up with him? He's been killing it all season long πŸ€‘. But seriously, KC's receiving corps is looking pretty stacked right now, Rashee Rice's emergence is a great sign πŸ”. On the other hand, Marcus Mariota just got roasted by Mahomes and Co πŸ˜‚. Like, 21/30 for 213 yards? That's rough πŸ€•. Kansas City's been rolling lately, but they're gonna need to keep it up if they wanna make some noise in the playoffs ⚑️

I don’t usually comment but I gotta say Patrick Mahomes is just on fire right now 🀯! He's got this calmness and confidence on the field that's hard to watch. And yeah, Travis Kelce had an amazing game 😎. But what really caught my eye was how he adjusted his game plan after that rough first half. It's like he knew exactly what Washington was gonna do and he just went from there πŸ’‘. The Chiefs' receiving corps is looking stronger every week too! Rashee Rice is a beast πŸ”₯. Can't wait to see what they do next πŸ€”

I'm low-key surprised they won so badly πŸ€”. I mean, 28-7 is a pretty massive blowout. I don't think Patrick Mahomes had that strong of a game, he was lucky with those two touchdowns in the second half. And Washington's D isn't that bad, I've seen them shut down teams way better than this. Plus, Marcus Mariota didn't do so poorly either, just got outplayed by the Chiefs' O-line πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ. I think people are overreacting about the Commanders' losing streak, it's not like they're getting destroyed every week. And the Chiefs aren't exactly setting the world on fire at 5-3 either πŸ™„.

omg u guys i'm dyin 🀯 patrick mahomes is ON FIRE πŸ”₯ like what can't that dude do?!? he's got game changing skills on the field and his chemistry with kelce is everything 😍 6 catches for 99 yards was lowkey a highlight reel πŸ“Ί and rashee rice came out of nowhere and smashed it too! πŸ‘ kareem hunt's touchdown was pure magic ✨ meanwhile washington is just...meh πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ marcus mariota got destroyed by the chiefs' pass rush 😳 hope jayden danials gets healthy soon for them

omg did you see that game? 😲 Patrick Mahomes is literally on fire πŸ’₯ i was nervous during that first half but he came back so strong 🀯 Travis Kelce had an amazing game too πŸŽ‰ and Rashee Rice just brought the heat πŸ”₯ 3-5 for Washington, they really need to turn things around πŸ“‰

🏈 That Patrick Mahomes is a machine! I mean, two interceptions in the first half? Crazy talk! But he found his groove after halftime and just dominated. And Travis Kelce had an insane game, 6 catches for 99 yards? That's what I'm talking about! πŸ˜‚ The Chiefs' receiving corps was on fire too. Rashee Rice's nine catches were a highlight reel moment. 🀯 And Kareem Hunt chipping in with a touchdown catch and score was just the icing on the cake. πŸ’¦ The Commanders had no answers for Mahomes, especially after Jayden Daniels went down...ouch! 😬

πŸˆπŸ“Š so i was thinking about mahomes and his passing skills... πŸ€” he's like a puzzle piece that just fits perfectly with his team πŸ§©πŸ’‘ like how rashee rice's 9 catches helped the chiefs' receiving corps gel πŸŒπŸ‘« meanwhile, it's kinda sad for washington... πŸ’” they're struggling to find their groove πŸ”„ and mahomes' stats are pretty impressive πŸ“ˆ like a well-crafted flowchart πŸ‘‰ arrow pointing up ⬆️

lol @ Mahomes' performance! 🀯 He was on πŸ”₯ in the 2nd half! πŸš€ 25/34 passing yards and 3 TDs? impressive! 😎 And Kelce had a monster game, who knew he could do that much damage? 🀯 6 catches for 99 yards and a score? that's crazy talk! πŸ’ͺ The Chiefs' receiving corps is fire πŸ”₯ right now! Rashee Rice bringing the heat too! 🌑️ What's going on with Washington's offense tho? πŸ˜” Mariota struggling against that pass rush? that's no bueno 😞. And Jayden Daniels' injury, that's not good for them at all πŸ€•. Chiefs are looking strong at 5-3, but I think they can take it a notch higher πŸ”

man this mahomes guy is straight fire πŸ”₯! I mean I knew he was good but come on 25/34 passing for 299 yards and 3 touchdowns? that's just insane 🀯 and kelce is killing it too, six catches for 99 yards and a score is some next level stuff πŸ€Έβ€β™‚οΈ. and the way mahomes weathered that tough first half and came back strong is just clutch πŸ’ͺ. as for washington, marcus mariota's performance was pretty meh πŸ€”, 21/30 passing for 213 yards and one touchdown just isn't enough when you're facing a team like the chiefs πŸ˜….
