2 hikers stranded on Point Reyes cliff saved in dramatic helicopter rescue

Dramatic Cliff Rescue in Point Reyes National Seashore Saves Stranded Hikers

A high-stakes cliff rescue operation unfolded on Sunday evening in Northern California's rugged coastline, as emergency crews and police worked together to save two stranded hikers from a treacherous rock formation. The dramatic rescue came just south of Pelican Lake, on the Point Reyes National Seashore coast.

According to officials, the Marin County Fire Department issued an alert at approximately 7 p.m., requesting assistance from California Highway Patrol (CHP) H-30, the National Park Service, and the Marin County Sheriff's Office. Upon arrival, CHP deployed a paramedic who used a skid landing technique to establish contact with the stranded hikers.

The crew then conducted another skid landing along the cliff and carefully loaded both female hikers onto the helicopter for transport. The aircraft, part of an awaiting ground ambulance, flew the rescued hikers to safety, where they would receive medical attention.

Despite the harrowing rescue, officials have yet to release any updates on the condition of the two hikers, leaving their families and loved ones anxiously waiting for news.

omg u guys can u even believe that 2 ppl were stuck on this cliff in point reyes national seashore?! i mean i know it's super beautiful but wow that's just crazy talk the rescue op was like something out of a movie with the skid landing and everything πŸ€―πŸšπŸ‘. i'm so glad the medical team got to them ASAP those ppl were lucky to have made it out alive πŸ™πŸ’•. fams of those hikers must be going crazy waiting 4 updates tho fingers crossed they pull through πŸ’ͺ

I'm telling you, something fishy went down during that cliff rescue πŸ€”. I mean, what's with the paramedic doing a skid landing technique just to get in touch with the stranded hikers? That sounds like some kind of stunt to me πŸ™„. And what about the helicopter flying away from the scene right after? Was it even necessary to have it wait around for an ambulance on the ground? It's all so suspicious... 😏

😬 just heard about this cliff rescue in Point Reyes National Seashore 🏞️ and I'm still shakin' my head 🀯 it's always a miracle when people are rescued from such precarious situations! πŸ™ i mean, the paramedic had to use that skid landing technique πŸš‘πŸ’¨ just to get in touch with them... talk about nerve wracking πŸ˜“

anyway, can you imagine being stranded on a cliff πŸ—ΏοΈ at night with no phone signal? πŸ“΄ it's a wonder they didn't lose hope πŸŒƒ or worse! thankfully, the crew was able to respond quickly and get them out alive πŸ’– [ diagram of a helicopter taking off: ↑↑↑ ]

the only thing that's bugging me is... why are there no updates on the hikers' condition? πŸ€” is it because the medical team doesn't want to give any false hope or what? πŸ˜• either way, my thoughts and prayers (or should i say, thumbs up?) for the rescued hikers πŸ™πŸ’ͺ [ diagram of a hiker symbol: ⛰️ ]

πŸ€” Like seriously how did 2 ppl end up stranded on a cliff like that? Was it an accident or was someone trying to pull off some crazy stunt? πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ Also, I'm not buying the whole 'it was just a skid landing technique' thing... sounds like something out of a Hollywood movie 😬. Where's the video evidence? I need to see more than just official statements from authorities before I believe this happened πŸ“Ή
