2026 World Cup matches: Who's playing at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara?

US Soccer Fans Rejoice: Levi's Stadium to Host Six 2026 FIFA World Cup Matches

Excitement is building among US soccer fans as the draws for the 2026 FIFA World Cup have been completed, with Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara set to host six of the tournament's matches. The stadium will play host to five group stage games and one Round of 32 match.

However, it seems that none of Argentina's star players, including Lionel Messi, will be gracing the field at Levi's Stadium. The draw has paired Qatar with Switzerland in a highly anticipated Group A encounter, while Austria takes on Jordan in a tough Group J matchup.

Fans eager to see their favorite teams compete will have several opportunities to do so at Levi's Stadium. In addition to these matches, the stadium will also host a Round of 32 match between the winners of Group D and third place teams from Groups B, E, F, I, and J. The US Men's National Team (USMNT) has been tipped to potentially compete in this match, depending on how they fare in their group stage matches.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup format is set to be expanded to include 48 teams, with each team competing in three group stage matches against the other three teams from its group. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage, which promises to be more unpredictable than ever due to the increased number of participants.

For US soccer fans looking forward to watching their favorite players compete on the biggest stage, Levi's Stadium is set to be a must-visit destination in 2026.

omg I'm so hyped for the 2026 FIFA World Cup 🤩 Levi's Stadium is gonna be lit for the USMNT matches, and I'm keeping fingers crossed that Messi shows up 🙏🏼 even though he won't be playing against Argentina... the group A match between Qatar and Switzerland is gonna be intense 😬 Austria vs Jordan is another game to watch out for! 💥 48 teams? that's a whole new level of excitement 🤯

omg i'm so stoked that us soccer fans get to host some matches at levis stadium 🎉! having six games there is amazing news, cant wait to see which teams are paired together and who will make it to the knockout stage 🤔. hope they can bring in some of those argentina players tho would be epic to see lionel messi and co play in santa clara 🙌!

🤔 So I'm thinking, this is a big deal for US soccer fans and all, but have you considered the environmental impact of hosting so many games at one place? Like, six matches is already a lot, but add the extra matches for the knockout stage... it's gonna be crazy 🌪️. And what about the players' safety? I mean, with more teams participating, there's more chance of injuries and stuff. But hey, I guess that's just part of the game 😬. One thing's for sure though, Levi's Stadium is gonna be electric in 2026! ⚽

😎 I'm loving this news! The fact that Levi's Stadium gets to host six matches of the 2026 FIFA World Cup is huge for US soccer fans. And with the expanded format, it's gonna be even more exciting to watch all those teams compete 🤩. I know some people are bummed that Messi won't be at Levi's, but I think it's awesome that we get to see other top-notch players like that of Qatar and Switzerland. The USMNT has a great chance of making it to one of the knockout stage matches too! 💪 It's gonna be an amazing event and I'm hyped to watch all the action unfold 📺

omg I'm so stoked that Levi's Stadium is hosting some FIFA World Cup matches 🤩🏟️! It's gonna be epic to see my USMNT team play live at this awesome stadium. The extra teams added for the 2026 tournament are gonna make it way more interesting, don't you think? 😄

I mean, can you even imagine Messi not playing in the States? 🤔 That's like, a huge miss! But still, there are so many talented players on that team, I'm sure we'll get some sick performances. And with all those group stage matches and the knockout stage too... it's gonna be non-stop action for 5 whole weeks!

I do wonder how the USMNT will do though, still got a bit of a tough road ahead 🤔. But one thing's for sure - Levi's Stadium is gonna be electric! 😃
