Ugh, another outlet flooding my feed with "breaking news" . When was the last time we actually broke through the noise and got some real answers? These headlines are just recycled gossip from 5 hours ago, with a fancy image slapped on top . And don't even get me started on these live updates - just a countdown timer ticking away until they're forced to move on to something else . It's like we're being conditioned to care about the next "big" story instead of actual substance. Can we just have some real journalism for once?
I dont really get why they need so many buttons on the top for going back and forth lol its like they want us to be all confused . And idk if i'd wanna click on "5 Arrested in Alleged Terror Plot in Michigan, FBI Says" it sounds kinda scary .
Can't believe how fast time flies . I was just talking to my grandkids the other day and they're still using flip phones . They think it's cool that I used to have to go to the library to do research . Now you can just Google everything on your phone . And don't even get me started on social media . My grandkids are always taking selfies and posting them online . It's like, what happened to having a good conversation face-to-face? . Anyway, back in my day we had to wait for the news to come on at 6 PM on TV . Now it's all over social media before you even get out of bed .
idk why everyone's so stoked about Obama coming back on the campaign trail... i think he should just stay out of it he's already got enough baggage, you know? plus, I'm all for Trump being in the lead - at least someone's shaking things up around here!
can't believe obama still got some fire in him just saw his comments on trump and i'm like yeah go obama but seriously tho, it's not just politics that needs change we need more people speaking out against inequality and climate change. social media platforms are doing way too much to suppress marginalized voices, it's time for them to step up and listen
