5 Women-Led Sundance Films Everyone’s Talking About, Featuring Brittney Griner, Charli XCX And Danielle Brooks

The Sundance festival finally gets it right 🙌! I mean, 63.6% female creatives is still not enough, but at least they're trying to address the imbalance in Hollywood. And let's be real, those films are pretty great too 💁‍♀️. "When A Witness Recants" was so powerful, it made me angry all over again about systemic racism 😤. But hey, at least we're having these conversations now.

And Charli XCX's documentary? Iconic 🤩. She's always been unapologetically herself, and that's what makes her so fascinating to watch. Courtney Love's story is pretty wild too - I mean, who wouldn't want to see a documentary about a rockstar discovering themselves again after all the craziness 😂?

I love how Sundance is using its platform to amplify women-led stories. It's about time we had more of these kinds of films out there 🎥. And with "If I Go Will They Miss Me?" being a standout, I'm hopeful that this trend will continue and we'll see even more talented women behind the camera in the future 💫.
