I'm reading this article about how US politics are getting super similar to China's authoritarian style Trump's admin is consolidating power, cracking down on free speech, and it's like they're copying Mao's playbook! What's crazy is that some Chinese people are actually looking at the US as a model for stability now ? Like, isn't that the opposite of what democracy is all about?
the more i think about this, the more i'm like "wait a minute... isn't this what china's been doing for decades? it's kinda messed up that america's heading down the same path "
