A New 'Predator: Badlands' Clip Ties Directly to 'Alien'

A new clip from 'Predator: Badlands' has surfaced, leaving fans wondering if this latest installment will finally introduce the iconic xenomorphs. Director Dan Trachtenberg has explicitly stated that there are "no xenomorphs" in his movie, which hits theaters on November 7. However, a closer examination of the clip reveals some striking similarities to Ridley Scott's 1979 masterpiece, 'Alien'.

The film follows Tessa, played by Elle Fanning, as she navigates her role within the Weyland-Yutani corporation, a company that Ripley and the crew of the Nostromo worked for in 'Alien'. The corporation is once again at the center of a bio-weapons heist, with Fanning's character tasked with acquiring a mysterious bioweapon designated as XX0522. While the true nature of this specimen remains unclear, it appears to have sparked the interest of MU/TH/UR, the same codename used in the 'Alien' franchise.

What's more notable, however, is that Weyland-Yutani is exploring a synthetic approach to acquiring these deadly alien species, much like in previous 'Alien' installments. This trend suggests a clear borrowing from the original 1979 film. Furthermore, the corporation's interest in the Yautja species, popularly known as "the Predator," raises questions about potential crossovers with the 'Predator' franchise.

The clip ends abruptly, leaving viewers to ponder the intentions behind Tessa's mission and the company's sinister plans. It remains to be seen whether 'Predator: Badlands' will deliver on its promise of a thrilling adventure, but one thing is certain – the connections to the 'Alien' franchise are undeniable. Fans can only wait until November 7 to find out what unfolds in this latest chapter in the sci-fi saga.

omg u guys i'm lowkey freaking out about dis new clip from predator: badlands!!! 🤯 it's like dan trachtenberg is straight up borrowing ideas from alien, but in a cool way? i mean, who doesn't love a good crossover? but what if this means we're gonna see some xenomorphs?!?! that would be wild 🚀

and can we talk about how weyland-yutani is exploring synthetic approaches to acquiring these deadly aliens?!?! it's like they're trying to play both sides, you know? and the predator connection is giving me LIFE 💥 i'm shipping this franchise and making them happen ASAP!

🤔 I'm so hyped for Predator: Badlands, but I gotta say, that clip is giving me some serious Alien vibes 🎥. Like, I get it, inspiration is cool and all, but can we talk about how similar Weyland-Yutani's approach to acquiring alien species sounds? 🤑 It's like they're trying to borrow the best parts of their own franchise 🤦‍♀️. And now there's rumors of a potential crossover with Predator... that's just too much for me 😲. I'm all about the thrills and adventure, but I need more originality in my sci-fi movies 💫. Will they deliver on their promise? I guess we'll just have to wait and see 🤞. One thing's for sure though - I'll be watching this movie with bated breath! 😬

I'm low-key hyped for this new Alien movie! I mean, it's been ages since we got a good sequel, and now they're bringing back Weyland-Yutani? That's some next-level corporate espionage right there 🤑🕵️‍♀️. I love how they're playing with the idea of synthetic aliens – like, what if this XX0522 is actually just a prototype for something way more sinister? The Predator connection has me super curious too... are we gonna see some kind of crossover or what?! 😲 Can't wait to see Elle Fanning's Tessa in action and get my Alien fix on November 7 🎥👽.

🤔 I'm actually kinda stoked about this new "Predator: Badlands" movie 🎥! I mean, who doesn't love a good sci-fi mystery? The fact that it's drawing inspiration from Ridley Scott's classic "Alien" is a total win in my book 😊. It's like the filmmakers are paying homage to a beloved franchise while still creating their own unique story. Plus, Elle Fanning as the lead character? 👩‍💼 I'm curious to see how she brings Tessa to life! And can we talk about how cool it is that Weyland-Yutani is exploring synthetic ways to acquire alien species? 🤖 It's like they're taking a futuristic approach to bio-weapons, which could lead to some awesome plot twists. Bring on November 7 and let's get this sci-fi party started! 🎉

🤔 This new clip from 'Predator: Badlands' is giving me some major déjà vu vibes... I mean, we all know Weyland-Yutani's shady dealings and the company's history with bio-weapons from the 'Alien' franchise. It's like they're trying to recapture that same dark atmosphere and tension from the original films. 🚨 But is it too similar? Are they borrowing too heavily from Ridley Scott's masterpiece, or do they have a new story to tell? 💡 I'm not sold on this one just yet... let's see what happens when 'Predator: Badlands' hits theaters in November! 😬

idk why ppl r so hyped about dis movie tho 🤔...i mean, it sounds like a pretty basic retread of alien lol 🚀💀...the idea of weyland-yutani trying to synthetically recreate xenomorphs is just lazy imo 🙄...and what's up with the predator connection? is this gonna be some kinda crossover movie or wut? 🤷‍♂️ i dunno man, idc when it comes out, ill probly watch it tho 😐
