air traffic controllers can't even get a paycheck without losing their minds lol but seriously it's so sad to see these people struggling like they're already on thin ice working with lives in the balance and no stability just means one more thing to worry about... like what if you need to take care of a sick family member or pay for medicine? it's all about prioritizing and making choices that aren't easy when the basics aren't being met
and I feel bad for the controllers who have been doing this job for so long, 10, 15 years is a huge commitment, they've got bills to pay too you know. I'm not saying just give them a raise or something, but come on, some gesture of goodwill would be nice, like being able to work side jobs without getting in trouble.
it's interesting how our priorities shift when we're facing uncertainty and fear... do we value stability over fairness? is it more important to keep the air traffic flowing than to support our own people? these are questions that need answering
