This whole thing is super complicated. So basically, the US had a peace plan for Ukraine that Donald Trump came up with and now it's not being taken seriously by everyone involved. Some people think it's too soft on Russia, which makes Ukraine and its friends really upset because they feel like they're not getting enough protection.

Sounds like something out of a bad negotiation movie - just give in to whatever Russia wants and hope for the best? No way, Ukraine needs concrete guarantees or it's back to square one 
. It's not like they haven't been fighting this war for four years already... what makes them think things are gonna magically change now? And with Ukraine's president under so much pressure, I just hope they dont get taken advantage of. This whole thing is just a huge mess
