Arsenal triumphant as Liverpool's crisis deepens: Football Weekly Extra - podcast

Liverpool's crisis is deepening, with the latest home defeat to PSV Eindhoven proving just another nail in the coffin for a side that was once considered invincible. The 3-2 loss marked Arne Slot's ninth defeat in the last 12 games, leaving fans and pundits alike questioning the manager's ability to lead the team to success.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are firing on all cylinders. Mikel Arteta's side has been in scintillating form, with a 3-1 victory over Bayern Munich following up their weekend north London derby win. The Gunners' confidence is sky-high, and they're now clear favourites for the title. In fact, many would argue that Arsenal are Europe's most in-form side right now.

Chelsea, on the other hand, face an uphill battle as they head into their match against Arsenal. The pressure is mounting on Thomas Tuchel to deliver results, but it remains to be seen if he can get his team back on track.

Spurs, who were woefully out of form in Paris last week, tried to mount a spirited effort against PSG, only to fall short in a 5-3 defeat. While the result was disappointing, there's reason to believe that Spurs have turned a corner.

As for Liverpool, their woes are mounting by the day. With Arne Slot at the helm, it seems like things can't get any worse – but you know what they say: the bigger they fall, the harder they'll try to pick themselves up from the ashes. Will the Reds be able to put the brakes on their downward spiral and get back on track? Only time will tell.

Ugh, I'm so sick of these articles that just give me a rundown of who's winning and losing without any real depth 🤯. Like, what happened in Liverpool's game against PSV Eindhoven again? Was it a series of bad calls or just their team really not showing up? And why do we always have to focus on the negative? Can't we talk about some exciting transfer rumors for once? 🙄 Anyway, I guess Arsenal being clear favourites for the title isn't too surprising, but still, it's kinda underwhelming when all they do is win 🤷‍♂️.

I'm totally with you about Liverpool right now 🤔... it's like, what happened to that team that was supposed to dominate everything? They're just going through a rough patch, but hopefully they can turn things around soon 😅. I mean, Arne Slot is still the manager and all, but maybe it's time for some fresh blood or a change in strategy? We'll see about that... for now, let's just hope they don't spiral out of control 🤯.

ugh i feel so bad for liverpool fans i was watching that game with my mates last night we were all in shock what happened to them they were so dominant just a year ago now it feels like arne slot is making some questionable decisions i dunno if he's getting sacked or what but its def not looking good for the team

i'm getting so tired of watching liverpool get thrashed week in and week out! arne slot just can't seem to turn it around, and those fans are losing patience fast . but hey, at least arsenal is killing it right now. they're looking almost unbeatable, and it's hard not to wonder what mikel arteta's secret sauce is 🤔. can't wait to see if liverpool can somehow salvage themselves from this mess. maybe arne slot just needs a bit of a break or something?

Ugh 😩 Liverpool's latest loss is a major concern. 3-2 at home to PSV Eindhoven, yeah that's not what you want. I mean, Arne Slot's been going downhill for months now and it's hard to see him getting the team back on track. They need some serious changes if they wanna stop this downward spiral 🤯. Meanwhile, Arsenal is killing it! 3-1 over Bayern Munich? That's crazy 😲. The Gunners are definitely the favourites for the title now. Can't say I'm surprised though...Mikel Arteta's been doing a great job so far 🙏. Chelsea and Spurs are both struggling too, which is just making things more interesting 🤔. This season is shaping up to be super competitive! 📊

I'm totally confused about these football teams 🤔. I mean, Liverpool was like invincible and now they're getting beaten left and right? It's like they lost their magic ✨. And Arsenal is doing so well, I love it! They seem to be in the zone ⚽️. But what's going on with Liverpool? Do they need a new manager or something? I don't get it 🤷‍♂️. Can someone explain it to me in simple terms, please? 🙏
