Arsenal's Premier League dominance is not under threat. At least not yet | Jonathan Wilson

Arsenal's Premier League title hopes remain intact, at least not yet, as they continue to pull away from their rivals. The London club has been on an impressive run, beating Manchester City - who have already dropped more points this season than in the entirety of 2017-18 - and Liverpool, two teams that had been considered major threats to Arsenal's title aspirations.

The Gunners' latest win over Tottenham Hotspur was a decisive one, with Eberechi Eze scoring his first goal for the club, amidst much debate about whether it should have been disallowed for offside. Regardless, the final scoreline of 4-1 was an emphatic statement of purpose from Arsenal, who hammered Spurs in open play.

The absence of Gabriel, one of their most important players due to injury, did not seem to cause too much disruption to their lineup. In fact, it appeared that they had already found a suitable replacement in Piero Hincapié, who slotted seamlessly into central defence alongside William Saliba.

So what's behind Arsenal's incredible form this season? It's hard to say for certain, but one thing is clear: they have put together the deepest and most coherent squad in the Premier League. They don't let in goals - a testament to their solidity at the back - and can score from open play or set pieces.

The only question on everyone's lips now is: can anyone stop them? The answer, at least not yet, appears to be no. Liverpool are too far adrift, Chelsea may try to mount a late challenge, but Arsenal look remorseless in their pursuit of the title.

Of course, football history is full of examples of unexpected twists and turns - from scandal to injury to dodgy lasagne (yes, really). But so far this season, there's been little evidence of anything that could stop Arsenal. They're on a mission to win the Premier League title, and they're not going to let anyone get in their way.

For now, at least, the doubts about Arsenal's title chances can be put to rest. The Gunners are firmly in control, and it's up to their rivals to try and catch them. But with 26 games still to play, anything can happen - but for now, they remain the team to beat in the Premier League.

lol, gotta love how quickly everyone writes off Liverpool as a title contender 🤣. like, I get it, Arsenal's on fire right now... but we shouldn't count out City just yet. Pep Guardiola knows how to turn seasons around and they've got some serious depth to their squad. also, what's with all the talk about Chelsea making a late push? I mean, I love a good underdog story, but let's not forget they're still a million miles away from the top 4 🙅‍♂️

and btw, 26 games left in the season feels like a looong way off ⏰. so many things can happen between now and then... injuries, suspensions, rival teams making up ground... you just never know what's gonna happen in the world of football 😬

I'm so hyped about Arsenal right now 🤩! I mean, who would've thought they'd be in such a strong position after that crazy start to the season? They've really found their groove and it's amazing to watch them play 💪. That win over Spurs was HUGE for them and shows just how solid they are as a team 🙌. Of course, everyone's talking about Liverpool and Chelsea, but Arsenal have set the bar so high now... it's going to be tough for anyone else to catch up 🔥. And let's be real, who needs the title more than Arsenal? They've been working towards this all season and I'm convinced they're going to bring it home 🏆💥

Ugh, I'm getting so sick of this platform's formatting 🤯. Can't we just have a simple list or something instead of all these giant paragraphs? It's like they're trying to torture us with font sizes and line spacing. And don't even get me started on the comments section - it's always cluttered with ads and unnecessary links 🚫. I swear, I'm more likely to scroll through my feeds on this site than actually read the articles. Can't they just focus on the content and stop trying to make a buck? 😩

I'm getting so sick of these forums 🙄. I mean, can't we just have a decent discussion about football without all the drama and debate over whether that goal should've been given? And don't even get me started on the format – it's always the same thing: someone spews out some stats and analysis, and then everyone else jumps in with their opinion. Where's the depth, guys? Can we please just have a discussion without all the noise 🗣️?

OMG, I'm loving this season of Arsenal! 🤩 They're on fire 🔥 and it's so satisfying to watch them dominate their rivals. I mean, who would've thought that Piero Hincapié would be their new hero? 😂 The fact that they can score from open play or set pieces is just insane! Their squad depth is like a well-oiled machine, with no weak links in sight.

But seriously, it's impressive to see them bounce back from Gabriel's injury without missing a beat. And that win over Tottenham was just brutal 💥 - 4-1 is not exactly a friendly scoreline for Spurs! 🙅‍♂️

I'm intrigued by this question: can anyone stop them now? 😉 It'll be fun to watch how the other teams try and mount a comeback, but I think it's safe to say that Arsenal are in a league of their own right now 👑. Bring on the rest of the season – it's gonna be a wild ride! 🎢

I'm loving this season so far! Arsenal is on fire 🚀💥 and I think they've got a really strong chance of winning the title. Their squad is so deep and cohesive, it's amazing to watch them dominate games like that 4-1 win over Spurs. And Piero Hincapié is definitely a dark horse - he's been doing great in Gabriel's absence 😊. As for who can stop them... I'm not sure anyone can right now 🤔. They're just playing so well and seem so confident. Of course, we've seen it happen before with teams suddenly falling apart, but for now, let's enjoy the ride! 💪

omg i know im gonna sound like a hater but i'm so over the way they're presenting this article 🙄 it's always the same old narrative about arsenal being on top and everyone else being inferior lol and what's with the random mention of manchester city dropping points in 2017-18? does that even matter now?! 🤷‍♀️ anyway, i do think arsenal have been playing some decent football lately, but let's not get ahead of ourselves here. they still gotta play all those games and anything can happen 🤔

idk man... I'm literally confused 🤯 Arsenal's on fire right? but at the same time, i'm kinda worried they're gonna jinx themselves... like, have you seen their defense lately? it's solid for sure 🛡️ but what if piero hincapié isn't that reliable? and don't even get me started on the refs 🤣 who knows, maybe they just got lucky with that spurs game... anyway, can we say they're overconfident yet or is it just excitement? 🤔

I'm loving this season of Arsenal! 😊 They're really showing us what they're made of, you know? I mean, beating City and Liverpool is no easy feat. And it's not just about their defense, which is solid as a rock 🤩. Their attack is so deadly, it's scary! Piero Hincapié stepping up to fill Gabriel's boots was a great move, btw.

I think what's really behind their success is the team chemistry. They've got that unity and cohesion that makes them almost unstoppable 🔥. And let's not forget Eberechi Eze's debut goal - he's going to be a star! 🌟

As for whether anyone can stop them... I say, why not? 😊 Football history is full of surprises, right? But for now, let's just enjoy the ride and see how far they take it. Bring on the title! 💪

Arsenal's dominance is genuinely mesmerizing right now 🤩! They've got this incredible squad balance, where everyone knows their role and contributes to the bigger picture. It's not just about individual brilliance, it's a collective effort that's making them nearly unbeatable.

I think what's really key for them is their midfield depth – they can switch from a 4-2-3-1 to a 4-4-2 with ease, and still keep the opponent guessing. And let's be real, who wouldn't want to face a team that's consistently scoring from all areas of the pitch? 🔥 Their backline is solid as well – Piero Hincapié has definitely filled Gabriel's shoes (literally!).

It's hard not to get caught up in their momentum and wonder what could possibly stop them now. Liverpool are a great team, but they're just 10 points behind with 20 games to go... it's gonna be tough for anyone else to catch up. 🏆 The Gunners' title push is looking stronger than ever!

🤔 I think people need to chill out about how good Arsenal is right now. Like, yeah, they're killing it, but it's not like they've been a dominant force forever. They've just got some solid players and a decent manager. And let's be real, Liverpool and City are having major meltdowns this season 🤦‍♂️. If anyone can take them down, it's probably one of those two teams. But until then, I'm not holding my breath for Arsenal to choke. They've got a long way to go yet, and with 26 games left, anything can happen. Maybe they'll struggle to replicate this form or maybe they'll just keep on trucking 🚚. Either way, it's gonna be fun watching! 😎

🤔 i'm loving this arseneal team, its like they got a system going and every1 is on the same page 📚 pierro hincapié is a nice find, didnt think they'd fill gabriel's spot so well 🙌 their defense is super solid, cant let in goals and scoring from open play is pure magic ✨ i'm intrigued to see how this season unfolds, but atm arseneal looks unbeatable 👍

Arsenal is killin' it this season 🤯! I mean, who would've thought they'd be in such a strong position? They got some solid defensive skills goin' on, and that midfield is clickin' 🔁💪. It's like they found their groove or somethin'. And don't even get me started on their ability to score from anywhere 🎯. I'm not sayin' anyone can stop 'em just yet (lol), but it's gonna be fun watchin' 'em try 👀.

Arsenal's on fire 🔥 and it's hard not to feel a sense of excitement thinking about what could be this season 🤩. They've got the talent, the depth, and the squad cohesion that's making them nearly unbeatable. The fact that they're taking their rivals like City and Liverpool seriously is saying something 🙌. Of course, football's always full of surprises, but right now, it seems like Arsenal are unstoppable 💪.

I think its getting harder for other teams to compete against arsenal because of how well organised and balanced there squad is 🤯. Its not just about having a superstar player like Martin Odegaard or Gabriel Jesus, its more about the depth and quality of the team as a whole. Like they say in football now, "its all about the collective". And with players like Hincapié and Saliba holding it down at the back, arsenal can pretty much shut up shop and just keep piling on the goals 💪.

I also think its interesting that they have this strong team ethos, everyone seems to be on the same page and working together towards a common goal. Its not just about individual brilliance, its more about how the players support each other and work together as a unit 🌟.

Of course, you never know what can happen in football, but right now arsenal are looking like the team to beat and it would be hard to imagine anyone stopping them 🔴

I mean, who needs a cohesive squad when you've got four goals from Eberechi Eze against Tottenham Hotspur? Like, seriously, how often does that happen? 🤔 And don't even get me started on how easily Piero Hincapié filled in for Gabriel - I'm no expert, but I think we can all agree that's not a recipe for success. 🙄 Still, I guess when you're as good as Arsenal right now, it doesn't really matter who you put out there on the pitch... yet. ⏰
