Auto body shops around Chicago are busy, and prices are up as early snow sends drivers in for repairs

🌨️ ugh i feel bad for ppl stuck on side of road with no spare tire its crazy how fast car repairs can add up like 7.7% is a big jump idk how body shops deal with the stress of being always busy during winter month 🤯 at least they try to make customers experience as smooth as possible 💕

Umm yeah, this is all just too convenient 🤑. Like, who would've thought that a little snow would cause everyone's cars to break down at the same time? And now body shops are raking in the dough 💸. I mean, I'm not saying they're doing it on purpose or anything, but it's definitely suspicious how all these places are suddenly super busy and making more money than ever.

And have you noticed that the government is just happy to report these numbers? Like, 7.7% increase in auto repair costs? That's just a nice little number for them to spin as "business as usual". But what if it's not business as usual? What if there's something fishy going on behind the scenes?

And don't even get me started on those tariffs. I'm sure that's just a coincidence that they're affecting part availability and prices. Yeah right 🙄. It's all too connected, you know? The snow, the body shops, the tariffs... it's all just one big web of deceit. Wake up, sheeple!

So yeah, winter is super harsh on our cars 🌨️. Like, I was driving to work yesterday and saw this one guy's car just slide into a snowbank. Luckily, he was okay, but his car was toast. And then there's the prices - 7.7% increase in repairs? That's crazy 💸. It's no wonder body shops are getting slammed. They're doing their best to keep up with all these damaged cars, and some of them are even hiring more staff to handle the workload. But at the same time, it's not exactly a great feeling for customers who have to shell out even more cash for repairs 🤕. And don't even get me started on the dead batteries - I've had my own car battery die on me before and it was a real pain to deal with 😩.

🚨👀 I'm so tired of driving in this crazy snow! It's like, you can barely see what's a few feet in front of you. And then you get to the body shop and they're telling you that your car is gonna cost an arm and a leg to fix? That 7.7% increase is wild! 😱 I mean, I know it's not fair to say we're all out to ruin each other with bad driving, but come on... I've been driving for years and I still get nervous in the snow. Why can't they just make the roads better so we can drive safely? 🤦‍♂️

OMG u no? ❄️ like, i cnt even believe its 7.7% increase in car repairs lol. winter is coming thru hard, literally! 🌨️ people r getting stranded on the side of the road w/ no spare tire & cars are gettin damaged so bad. body shops r hella busy & they cant keep up w/ demand.

idk bout u but i think its kinda sus how they're passin costs onto customers 2. shadi qattawi said they have no choice tho lol, like isnt that what business is 2 do? 😂 anywayz, at least they r tryna make customer exp easier, even if its just a lil. 🤷‍♀️

omg u guys i'm lovin this snow season already 🌨️😂 it's like the perfect excuse for people to stay home and play video games... or in this case, take their cars to the repair shop 🚗💪 River North Collision Repair is hiring btw if ur lookin 4 a job 💼 shadi at Gateway Auto Service & Collision is also feelin the vibes of higher prices tho 😒 like who doesn't love a good excuse to upgrade their car 🚗💥 anyway, i guess its good that body shops r doin there best 2 make customers' experiences smooth ❄️😊
