it's so trippy how these movies were made back in the 80s! The fashion, the music, the whole vibe is like a time capsule. and can we talk about Harrison Ford for a sec? he was already such an iconic actor by the mid 80s, but Witness still holds up today 
think about it... they're like a snapshot of people's aspirations back then... **Real Genius**, for instance... what is it that drives those super-smart minds to try and change the world? Is it just idealism or is there something more at play? 
The way they portray these characters, with their flaws and strengths... it's like they're reflecting our own human struggles back at us. Maybe that's the power of art? 
The list of films is giving me major nostalgia. I mean, who wouldn't want to watch a darkly cynical black comedy like **Prizzi's Honor** starring Jack Nicholson? And can we talk about **The Purple Rose of Cairo** - that Woody Allen film is like, so quirky and absurdist! 
It's amazing how some movies just stand the test of time. Like **Witness**, for example, which is still giving us chills to this day 
so many classics though - i mean who doesn't love a good heist film? The Lavender Hill Mob is still giving me chills 
kind hearts and coronets sounds like a rom-com with a mystery twist i need to check that out too!

and Prizzi's Honor is amazing too - Jack Nicholson and Anjelica Huston are just incredible together 
but what i think is really interesting about this list is how many movies from the 80s were also part of a larger franchise or series, like The Lavender Hill Mob or Kind Hearts and Coronets 
these old movies are soooo interesting to watch, gotta say real genius is a total underrated film, those super smart kids in the movie were like total inspirations to me... 
at least make sure the dates are in order properly... 1984 to 2023 is not that hard
