Brazil's embattled ex-president Jair Bolsonaro was denied permission to visit a hospital after suffering a head injury while falling out of his prison bed, according to his wife Michelle. The 70-year-old former leader took a tumble while sleeping and hit his head on a piece of furniture in the prison cell.

Michelle posted an update on Instagram stating that Bolsonaro is set for a trip to the hospital "My love will undergo exams," she wrote. However, Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes blocked the request, citing minor injuries that didn't warrant immediate medical attention.

Federal police officials initially provided Bolsonaro with initial medical treatment in the morning and reported that a doctor found no significant issues. A statement from the federal police confirmed that Bolsonaro received some basic care before being released back to his prison cell.
 
im not surprised about this 🤔...bolsonaro's health has been a concern for ages, all those years of horse riding and whatnot must have caught up with him 😅. but seriously, 70 is old for getting injured like that. doesn't seem fair that he got to be treated by the feds first and then had his visit blocked 🚫. still, at least he's not being held back in prison or anything...a hospital visit should've been a no-brainer 🤷‍♂️. hope everything turns out okay for him, but you never know what can happen with people like that 🤞.
 
i dont get why jair bolsonaro gets special treatment even after falling out of bed like that, i mean, weve all had those times where were clumsy and bumped our heads but still manage to bounce back... meanwhile, the guy is 70 and has a history of being super reckless with his health, not to mention his questionable politics. and now hes getting denied hospital visits just because he didnt have any serious injuries? it seems kinda convenient considering his past actions. i guess the justice system is doing its job but also, like, isnt there some kind of safeguard in place for someone who could potentially die from a head injury? 🤷‍♀️🚑
 
I dont get why Bolsonaro's health is being scrutinized so much lol 🤦‍♂️. He's 70, it's probs just a minor fall and he'll be fine 😒. I mean, cant the public just leave him be for once? Ugh, can you even imagine having to ask for permission to go to the hospital when you've literally hit your head on something 😂?! Like, what's next?
