Breeders' Cup 2025: all-conquering O'Brien arrives with sights on new record

I mean, Idan O'Brien's on a hot streak right now ... like, what's his secret? Just keeping all those horses fit and happy, I suppose . Can't wait to see Minnie Hauk give it her all on Saturday - may the odds be ever in her favor! And if she wins, we'll have to tip our hats to O'Brien for trying to break that Lukas record ... but 21 wins? That's a tall order even for a supertrainer like him .

I'm loving Idan O'Brien's chances of breaking D Wayne Lukas's Breeders' Cup record . 21 wins would be insane! But I think it's gonna be tough for him, especially since Lukas had three horses that won in consecutive years... that's like a whole different level of consistency . Still, Minnie Hauk and Precise seem strong contenders, and O'Brien's team always brings A-game . Maybe he can do the impossible and make history this weekend?

I don't really get why people make such a big deal about winning records like this . I mean, yeah Idan O'Brien is super good and all but 21 wins at the Breeders' Cup? That's impressive, I guess, but it's just racing . Can you imagine if he did win that record? Would he be happy or would he just be like "meh" . And what about D Wayne Lukas? He had a great career too and 19 wins is still pretty crazy . I'd love to see the horses run though, maybe I'll catch some of it on TV this weekend

OMG, cant believe Idan O'Brien is still goin for that 21 win lol! Like, he's already killin it this season with all his horses, but now he's set his sights on that Breeders' Cup record . D Wayne Lukas was a legend btw, had an amazing career and those consecutive wins are def some kinda feat . O'Brien's gotta give it his all tho, 21 wins is a huge goal!
