Bronx man charged with fatally shooting 38-year-old at NYCHA building

Wow 🤯 this is insane, 12 days without a homicide in NYC and then you got a guy gunned down in his own building? Interesting 💀 the fact that he had a loaded pistol on him just two blocks away from the crime scene is wild...

man whats goin on in nyc?? 12 days no murders & then boom 1? record breaker or just gettin reckless? cant believe some dude was carryin a loaded pistol around just 2 blocks away from the crime scene 🤯🔫 gotta wonder if he thought it'd be a good idea to play cop or somethin. anyway, gun violence is still a huge problem in this city & it's like everyone's just waitin for someone else to make a move 💣💀 need some real action from da authorities on dis 1 👊

man this is so disheartening to hear about another senseless killing in nyc u think its cuz of the high crime rate in the bronx or is it somethin else 🤕 the fact that sean grant was carryin a gun in his pants and he's facin murder charges is just crazy how do we as a community move forward from this 🙏

Man, I'm still trying to process this latest string of violence in the Bronx... 🤕 12 days without a homicide was like a beacon of hope, you know? And then this guy goes and ruins it with some senseless killing. It's like we're right back where we were 10 years ago, wondering why we can't seem to break the cycle of gun violence.

I remember when I was growing up in the city, we didn't even think twice about carrying a gun for protection. Now, it's just insane how many people are walking around with firearms, waiting for the other shoe to drop. And the stats on shootings this year? Forget about it... 39% increase? That's like a ticking time bomb just waiting to go off.

I'm not saying we should give up hope or anything, but it feels like we're just going through the motions at this point. We've had record lows for shooting incidents and victims, only to have something like this happen. It's like we're stuck in some kind of never-ending nightmare... 😩

Ugh, another random act of violence in NYC 🤕. I'm glad the police were able to catch Sean Grant so quickly, but 12 days without a homicide is still pretty impressive? 📈 I mean, it's not like anyone was expecting it to last that long or anything, but still...

And what's up with all these gun violence stats? Like, we're seeing an increase in shootings in the city, but homicides are down overall? It doesn't add up, you know? 🤔 Is it possible that people are just not getting caught for the same crimes as they used to be? Or is there something else going on here that I'm missing?

Anyway, this incident does serve as a reminder of how crazy life can get in NYC. You never know when violence can strike anywhere, even in your own building 😱.

I'M SO SAD ABOUT THIS RECENT HOMICIDE IN THE BRONX!!! IT'S LIKE, WE'RE ACTUALLY MAKING PROGRESS ON REDUCING VIOLENCE AND GUN CARTELS ARE JUST KEEPING COMING BACK TO HAUNT US!!! I MEAN, I GET IT, DISPUTES HAPPEN, BUT CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG?! 🤕💔 THE FACT THAT SEAN GRANT WAS CARRYING A loaded pistol IN HIS PANTS LIKE IT WAS NO BIG DEAL IS JUST MIND BLOWING TO ME!!! HOW MANY TIMES DO WE NEED TO SEE THIS BEFORE WE TAKE ACTION?! AND IT'S NOT JUST ABOUT THE VICTIM, IT'S ABOUT ALL THE OTHER PEOPLE WHO COULD'VE BEEN HURT OR KILLED IN THAT SHOOTING!!! I FEEL LIKE WE'RE NOT TAKING GUN SAFETY SERIOUSLY ENOUGH!!!
