I gotta say, I kinda feel bad for those electric scooter companies
. On one hand, accidents do happen and it's crazy how reckless some people can be on these things
. But at the same time, 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. curfew is straight up harsh
. I mean, what's the harm in letting them ride around during late nights? It's not like they're gonna hurt anyone too badly
.
I think if the city could just find some middle ground, like you said Jake
, we might be able to solve this problem
. More enforcement efforts would be cool, but I don't wanna see businesses get totally trampled
. Rent E-Boards Houston seems like they're doing it right with their customer base and all
.
I guess what I'm saying is, let's not just throw the baby out with the bathwater
. Can we find a way to keep these scooters safe for everyone?
