Children and police officers among at least 30 killed in Israeli strikes on Gaza

At Least 30 Palestinians Killed in Recent Israeli Strikes on Gaza, Including Children and Police Officers.

The Israeli military has carried out some of its deadliest airstrikes on the Palestinian territory of Gaza in months, leaving at least 30 people dead, including children and police officers. The violence broke out when Israel struck a police station in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood of Gaza City, killing 10 officers and detainees.

Emergency responders searched for bodies in the area, indicating that the death toll could rise further. The strike was carried out despite a nominal ceasefire agreement between the two sides. In another incident, Israel bombed an apartment in Gaza City, killing three children and two women. Seven more people lost their lives when Israel bombed tents in Khan Younis.

The Israeli military cited an incident on Friday involving eight armed men coming out of a tunnel in Rafah as justification for the attacks. However, Palestinians see the strikes as part of a broader attempt by Israel to restrict movement in and out of Gaza.

Gaza's health ministry has recorded over 500 Palestinian deaths at the hands of Israeli fire since the start of the ceasefire on October 10th. Despite ongoing violence, the ceasefire agreement is moving into its second phase, which includes demands for Hamas to disarm and hand over power to a Board of Peace organization.

Critics say that Israel's plan for "developing Gaza" – as outlined by Jared Kushner in a recent presentation – prioritizes futuristic skyscrapers overlooking the Mediterranean. However, most of Gaza remains devastated after two years of Israeli bombing, which has killed more than 70,000 Palestinians.

πŸ€• just saw this news and its so sad i was studying for my exams yesterday and then i get to see this on twitter 😱 like what is going on in the world right now israel attacking gaza again? how many lives have they taken already it breaks my heart thinking about those 3 kids who got killed in that apartment bomb 🀯 and another 7 people who died from tent bombing πŸŒͺ️ when will this violence end? we need peace not just some fancy presentation with futuristic skyscrapers πŸ’”

its so sad to see this ongoing violence πŸ€•πŸ’”. i made a quick diagram to show what's been happening πŸ“…

and its not just the deaths, Gaza is still devastated 😩. i think we need to think about ways to help them rebuild πŸŒ†

i also drew a simple map of what Israel's plan for "developing" Gaza looks like πŸ—ΊοΈ

This is just getting out of control 🀯, 30 people dead and counting? It's like they're trying to suck all life out of Gaza πŸŒͺ️... can't believe the civilian casualties, kids and police officers too 😩... Israel needs to take responsibility for its actions, it's not just about "security" or whatever excuse they use... have you seen the pics of Gaza after 2 years of bombing? It's a war crime 🚫... what's with this "developing Gaza" plan? Just a bunch of fancy skyscrapers for rich people to enjoy while the rest of us suffer πŸ™οΈ... can't we just talk about peace and how to help each other instead of hurting each other? 🀝

Man, I'm still trying to process this news πŸ€•. It's heartbreaking to see so many innocent lives lost in a situation that feels like it's never-ending. I mean, those kids and police officers... they were just trying to live their lives, and then BAM! They're gone πŸ’”. And the fact that it's happening despite a ceasefire agreement? It feels like Israel is just disregarding the lives of Palestinians altogether πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ.

I've been following this situation for a while now, and it's just so frustrating. Gaza needs help, period. Not just some fancy plan to "develop" the place with skyscrapers and whatnot, but actual aid and support to rebuild homes and communities that have been destroyed 🏠. 500+ deaths since the ceasefire started? That's not a number you want to see on a news headline 😩.

I wish there was more awareness about what's really going on in Gaza and how we can help make a difference. We need to start thinking about these issues beyond just tweets and headlines, you know? πŸ€”

πŸ€• This is getting outta hand... Israel's got some serious questions to answer here. All these innocent lives lost, and what's being asked in return? More "development" that benefits who? The only ones benefiting from this cycle of violence are the ones with the guns 🎯. 500+ Palestinian deaths since October and nothing's changed. It's like they're trying to break the spirit of the people before even giving them a chance at rebuilding. Gaza needs help, not more bombs πŸ’”

man this is getting outta hand πŸ’”πŸŒͺ️ like seriously how many ppl gotta die in one day?! 🀯 at least 30 people lost their lives in one day and it's still not over 🚫 Israel gotta stop with these airstrikes already! πŸ’₯ it's so not fair to the innocent civilians πŸ‘ΆπŸ’• especially the kids & police officers πŸ˜” and have u seen the vids of the destroyed buildings & streets? πŸ“Έ it's like a war zone over there πŸŒͺ️ what's gonna happen 2 Gaza tho?! πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

πŸ€• This is getting out of hand... I mean, can't we just find peace already? πŸ™ The thought of 30 innocent lives lost, including kids and police officers, in one day is heartbreaking. How many times do these airstrikes have to happen before someone listens? πŸ’” And what's with the endless cycle of violence? Gaza's been through so much trauma over the years... it feels like Israel's plan for "developing" Gaza just ignores all that destruction πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ. Those futuristic skyscrapers Kushner is talking about might be nice, but do we really need more luxury development when there are still thousands of people living in squalid conditions? πŸ πŸ’Έ

I don’t usually comment but... it's just so sad what's happening in Gaza right now πŸ€•. I feel like we're seeing the same old cycle over and over again – Israel strikes, innocent people die, ceasefire, violence breaks out again... It's like no one's learning from these tragic events πŸ€”.

I don't think it's fair to blame all of this on Hamas, though. The situation is much more complicated than that. I mean, what about the fact that Gaza has been under blockade for years and people are still struggling to get basic necessities like food and water? It just feels like Israel's got a lot of power over there and they're not using it for good πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ.

And honestly, I don't think building futuristic skyscrapers is going to solve anything πŸ˜’. Most of Gaza needs attention and resources right now, not luxury developments. We should be focusing on rebuilding and creating opportunities for the people who live there, not just ignoring the problems that have been created 🀝.

😞 The numbers are just mind-boggling. 30 people, including kids and police officers, lost their lives in one day alone. It's heartbreaking to see the devastating impact on civilians, especially children who shouldn't have to go through this. And it's not like Israel didn't know about the tunnel incident - they had time to react. The whole thing feels so avoidable.

I'm also confused by the ceasefire agreement. If both sides agreed to a temporary halt in violence, why did Israel still launch these airstrikes? It doesn't seem like there was enough evidence to justify such extreme measures. And what's up with Gaza's health ministry recording over 500 deaths since October? Is this just an accident or is something more going on?

It's frustrating that the international community seems to be unable to bring about a lasting peace in the region. We need to see some real action taken to address the root causes of this conflict and work towards a long-term solution. πŸ’”

πŸ˜” This is just so sad... 30 innocent lives lost. Kids, police officers, anyone who shouldn't be a casualty in this conflict πŸ€• I mean, what's the point of all these airstrikes? Are we really that far apart from finding a way to coexist peacefully? πŸ™…β€β™‚οΈ It feels like Israel is just trying to control everything and everyone around them.

I'm so tired of the endless violence and bloodshed. Can't we focus on building bridges instead of walls? πŸ’” Gaza's situation is just heartbreaking – 70,000+ lives lost in two years... it's just not right 🀯. The ceasefire agreement might be a step in the right direction, but at what cost?

I'm starting to think that some people in power don't really care about the human cost of their decisions. It's all about 'developing Gaza' and making it more 'tractive' for tourists... πŸ’Έ like who cares about the actual people living there? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ This just feels so unfair πŸ˜”

Ugh, can we talk about the state of this platform for a sec? 🀯 I was trying to leave a comment on that news article and it kept auto-correcting my words! Like, I wrote "the Israeli military is completely losing its grip on reality" but it came out as "the Israeli military is completely losing its grip on reality... kinda". Come on, can't we have a platform where our words are respected? πŸ™„

Anyway, back to Gaza. This is just heartbreaking. 30 people killed, including kids and police officers? It's like Israel is trying to suck the life out of this already devastated place. And what's with all these airstrikes? Can't they just talk to each other instead of bombing everything in sight? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ The fact that Gaza's health ministry has recorded over 500 deaths since the ceasefire started is just staggering. We need to do better than this, people! πŸ’”

πŸ€• I'm so worried about what's happening in Gaza right now 🌊. At least 30 people are dead and it could be even worse because they're still searching for bodies in the area πŸš’. Children and police officers are among the victims which is just heartbreaking πŸ˜”. It's crazy that Israel is citing an incident involving armed men coming out of a tunnel as justification for these airstrikes, but Palestinians think it's just part of a plan to restrict movement in and out of Gaza 🚫. I don't understand why this violence can't be resolved through peace talks or something instead of all this bloodshed πŸ’”. We should be working towards finding solutions that benefit everyone, not just one side winning over the other πŸ’ͺ. And what's with Israel's plan for "developing" Gaza? It seems more like a PR stunt to me πŸ€₯, especially when most of Gaza is still devastated after all these bombings πŸŒͺ️. We need to do better than this 😒.

this is just getting out of hand... I mean 30+ people dead and we're still talking about some new "plan" to rebuild gaza 🀯 like building fancy skyscrapers gonna fix everything? it sounds like a bunch of empty promises to me. what's really going on here is that israel is trying to maintain control over the territory and restrict movement in and out. the ceasefire agreement is just a way for them to keep pretending like they're working towards peace while actually doing the opposite πŸ™„

Ugh, this is so depressing πŸ€•. Can't these leaders just get along? The fact that they keep going back to violence instead of trying to make peace is really frustrating. And the numbers are crazy - over 500 Palestinian deaths and counting... it's like a never-ending nightmare. I feel bad for the families of those who lost their loved ones. πŸ€”

And what's with Israel's plan for "developing Gaza"? It sounds like a bunch of empty promises, prioritizing fancy skyscrapers when people are still struggling to survive. Like, have they even thought about the infrastructure and basic needs of the people living there? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ I'm not buying it.

Can't we just focus on finding ways to resolve conflicts peacefully instead of resorting to violence all the time? 😩 It's exhausting.

πŸ€” u know whats weird about this news? Israel's always talkin bout "developing" Gaza but meanwhile they keep strikin down civilians & policemen... seems like they're tryna control the narrative & distract us from their own failures in governin that place πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

& Jared Kushner's presentation sounds suspiciously like a ploy to justify Israel's grip on Gaza. I mean, "developing" Gaza with futuristic skyscrapers? That's just a fancy way of sayin they're gonna keep us out while they build their own luxury homes & hotels πŸ πŸ’Έ

I'm not buyin the whole ceasefire story either... what's really goin on in those tunnels in Rafah? Is it just a coincidence that Israel's strikin down Palestinians left & right, or is there somethin more sinister at play? 🚨πŸ’₯

Ugh πŸ€• my heart is breaking thinking about all these innocent lives lost πŸ’” especially those kids and police officers who were just trying to do their job 😭 it's so sad that Israel's actions are causing this much pain and suffering for the Palestinian people.

I feel like Israel needs to take responsibility for what they're doing and stop using these airstrikes as a way to control the movement in and out of Gaza 🚫 it's not fair to the civilians who are just trying to survive. I also don't get why they're making this plan to "develop" Gaza with all these fancy skyscrapers when most of the area is still devastated from two years of bombing πŸ’₯ it's like they're ignoring the fact that there are people living in poverty and suffering right now.

Can we please just try to find a way for both sides to coexist peacefully? 🀞

The whole thing just feels like too much of a free pass for Israel πŸ€”. Like, they're basically doing whatever they want and we're just sitting back waiting for the bodies to pile up? It's getting out of hand 😩. And can we talk about how convenient it is that the deaths are always blamed on Hamas or some other external force instead of actually owning up to their own aggression? πŸ™„

Ugh, this is just getting ridiculous 🀯. Another round of innocent lives lost and what does it even solve? Just a bunch of empty promises to 'develop' the area with fancy skyscrapers that'll probably be uninhabitable for actual people anyway πŸ’Έ. Meanwhile, the real issue is still there – how do we help people rebuild and actually live decently in Gaza after two years of this non-stop violence and destruction? It's just so frustrating 😩. And can't they just have one ceasefire agreement without it getting broken within hours? πŸ™„
