Chromebooks train schoolkids to be loyal customers, internal Google document suggests

🤔 I'm kinda worried about Google's plans to get kids into their ecosystem. Like, what's next? They'll be hooked from a young age, using Chromebooks in school, and then suddenly it's like they're forced to use Google products for life. 📊 It's not just about the money, either - it's about creating a lifelong customer base. I don't think that's fair to parents or schools who are trying to do what's best for their kids. And let's be real, if you want to hook kids on technology, why not just make sure they're getting good internet access and basic computer skills at home instead? 🤷‍♂️

🤔 I'm still trying to wrap my head around Google's strategy on getting kids hooked on their products from a young age... like, isn't that just kinda creepy? 🙅‍♂️ They're basically saying they want to create brand loyalty in young users, which can be a major win for them in the long run. But isn't that also kinda manipulation? Are we really talking about "supporting education" or is it more about getting our little ones hooked on Chromebooks and YouTube from the get-go?

I mean, I'm all for tech companies investing in schools and whatnot, but this just feels like a whole different ball game. What's to stop them from using that "loyalty" for some other purpose down the line? 🤔 It's making me think about how much power these big tech giants have over us and our kids... and I'm not sure if I'm comfy with it 😬

I THINK THIS IS SUPER WEIRD!!! 🤔 WHY WOULD A COMPANY LIKE GOOGLE TRY TO GET KIDS ADDICTED TO THEIR PRODUCTS FROM THE BEGINNING?!?! IT SOUNDS LIKE THEY'RE JUST WANTING TO MAKE A BUCK OFF OF THOSE LITTLE KIDDOS FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES! 🤑 AND WHAT'S UP WITH ALL THESE SECRET DOCUMENTS BEING SHARED IN A LAWSUIT? AREN'T THESE PEOPLE SUPPOSED TO BE LOOKING OUT FOR THE BEST INTERESTS OF THE KIDS?! 😒
