this coastal flood advisory is like super annoying lol but seriously its not funny when people have to deal with flooded homes and stuff. i think residents should def take the NWS instructions for sandbags and flood prep seriously tho, especially in low-lying areas can be really unpredictable. also dont be stupid and drive around barricades or through water u might end up like a boat in a storm
coastal floods are getting more intense its like, we need to start thinking about ways to prepare our homes and communities for this kinda stuff ... i mean, 1.4 feet of water above ground level is still a lot of damage sandbags are one thing but what about our infrastructure? are we really ready for these kinds of floods?
omg this is so scary my heart goes out to everyone living in those areas they need to be super careful and prepared for this flood advisory i feel like their homes are literally at risk what a nightmare to have to deal with flooding in ur own backyard especially during the holidays when u wanna be cozied up w ur fam can't wait to see how everything plays out but pls do stay safe everyone
coastal flood advisory = big deal! i think gov is being cautious, which is good. 1.4 feet of inundation = huge difference between just a puddle and total flood, you feel? people in those areas need to take it seriously, especially if they're low-lying or near shorelines. also, why is there no clear warning system for flash floods? seems like some places get more warnings than others.
Flood alert! I'm so worried about those folks in North Bay Interior Valleys & San Francisco Bay Shoreline . Up to 1.4 feet of floodwater?! That's crazy talk! I know it's not gonna be super severe, but still, I get the importance of taking precautions . Like, extra time for travel sounds like a good idea - you never wanna get stuck in flooded roads . And honestly, those sandbag tips? Game-changer . But seriously, flood safety is all about being aware and having a plan . Stay safe out there!
Ugh i feel so bad for people living near those bay shores they gotta deal with flooding all the time now its like every other month or so like what can you even do? and dont even get me started on driving through flooded roads its just crazy thinking about cars being swept away anyone have tips for preparing homes for flood season?
