CrimeCon's Clue Awards Open Submissions for 2026 Ceremony

True crime enthusiasts, creators, and industry professionals, take note. CrimeCon's prestigious Clue Awards are now accepting submissions for the 2026 ceremony, set to take place on May 30 in Las Vegas.

The Clue Awards celebrate excellence across various true crime content formats, including television, podcasting, film, and publishing. Categories include outstanding episodic series, docuseries, scripted series or films, documentary films, and true crime books. Individual achievement honors will also be bestowed upon deserving creators.

Submissions can be submitted at ClueAwards.com, with early bird options available until February 15 for a discounted rate. The regular submission deadline is March 21, while April 1 marks the final cut-off for final submissions. Eligible projects must have been released between May 31, 2025, and March 31, 2026.

A third-party committee comprised of industry experts will select the nominees and winners. Last year's panel included professionals from various true crime content providers, including Inside Crime, Campfire Studios, and Law & Crime Network.

Winners from last year's ceremony included Netflix's "American Murder: Gabby Petito," ABC News' "The Girl Who Looked Like Me," and MGM+’s "Godfather of Harlem." The families of Liberty German and Abigail Williams also received individual achievement awards. This year's awards will be hosted by Ice-T, who stars on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit."

If you're a true crime content creator or enthusiast looking to get recognized, now is the time to submit your project for consideration.

OMG, you guys, I'm telling you, this whole thing just smells like they want to control our minds with true crime 🤯. First off, May 30 in Las Vegas - what's so special about that date? Is it a secret gathering of mind controllers or something? 🧠 And don't even get me started on Ice-T hosting the ceremony... has he been brainwashed too? 😳 I mean, what's next, a true crime-themed reality show with him as the host? 📺 We need to keep our eyes open here!
