Denmark, Greenland push back on Trump remarks, say Greenland not for conquest - video

Trump's comment was a major eye-opener 🤯, and I'm glad that both Denmark and Greenland are taking a strong stance on this matter 💪. It's crazy to think that someone could even suggest buying an entire island 🌴. The idea of Greenland being "up for sale" is just not something you'd hear in real life, especially from people who care about the well-being of others ❤️. It's refreshing to see Denmark and Greenland working together to protect their sovereignty and way of life 👫. Trump might have been joking, but it's clear that his words still made a lot of people nervous 😬. One thing's for sure, Greenland is not going anywhere anytime soon 💥.

omg like, who does trump think he is? buying an entire island nation like it's a timeshare lol 🤣 anyway, gotta respect denmark & greenland for standing firm against trump's antics... i mean, can you imagine if someone came to your house and was all "hey, wanna sell this place to me?" no thanks! 😂 the fact that they have a parliamentary resolution saying they won't be influenced is kinda cool though 👍

Gotsta say Trumps comments were pretty ruff 🤬 especially considering Danes & Greenlander people already got so much pride & love for their land 🌿🏝️ shouldn't be up 4 sale, 4eva 💯

Man... I'm thinking about what makes a place truly ours 🌎️. Trump's comments might've been lighthearted, but they still got under Greenland's skin, you know? It's like he was trying to erase the history and culture that's so deeply rooted in that land. Denmark and Greenland are all about preserving their identity, and it's refreshing to see them stand up for what's theirs.

It makes me wonder, though... how do we define ownership in the first place? Is it just about who has the guns or the money? Or is it about something more profound – like a connection to the land, to the people, to our own sense of self? Greenland's decision to reserve its right to decide its own future feels like a powerful statement about what truly matters. 💭

The US President thinks Greenland is like a piece of real estate he can just buy? 🤦‍♂️ How about respect for actual countries with people who have lived there for centuries? It's not like Denmark got Greenland as a favor from some other country to help pay off their debt. The fact that Greenland has its own parliament and now a formal statement on its sovereignty is actually kinda cool 😎. Maybe Trump should've done some research before making jokes about buying an entire nation state 📚
