gotta think twice before reachin' for a gun even if you're just cleanin' it

oh man I had the craziest dream last night where my cat was riding a unicorn 
through space and we were both eating pizza at the same time 
anyway back to this dog owner thing... I mean can you even imagine being that careless with your gun? 
like what were they thinking "oh my dog is just chillin next to me, I'll just leave it on" 
no no no! always treat those guns like they're loaded and all that jazz like how a dog can go from cuddles to shotgun in 2 sec 
i feel bad for the owner tho, who's gonna clean up after this? 
at least he's gonna live 
the police need to make sure everyone knows gun safety 101 and how to keep those paws away from triggers 
can you imagine having a dog that's like 'let me cuddle... and shoot my owner' 
? I mean, I love dogs too, but this one takes the cake (or should I say shotgun 
). It's like they always say, 'don't leave your gun lying around, you never know who might pick it up'... or in this case, a dog with a big personality 
. Seriously though, glad the guy made it out alive, but I gotta ask, was that a 'paws-itive' distraction from his cleaning routine?

But seriously, it's a good reminder that guns are super dangerous and we need to be so careful when handling them. I mean, even if you're doing something like cleaning it, there's always the chance of an accident happening.
. It's just one of those freak accidents that can happen to anyone, and we need to learn from it. The police are right, we should all treat every gun as if it's loaded, even when we're not sure what we're doing. Safety first, you know?
