I just can't even think about this case without feeling so much empathy for Krystal Rivera. I mean, imagine being in her shoes and having to go through this pain and trauma. It's not fair that she's having to fight for justice for her daughter who was senselessly taken from this world. 
The fact that Baker had a history of allegations against him is just shocking. It's like, how could someone with so many red flags be allowed to continue working in law enforcement? 
And the way he showed up uninvited at Krystal's house before the incident... it's just so disturbing.But you know what really gets me? The fact that this case is still under investigation and no one has taken any decision on charges against Baker yet. It feels like justice is still a long way off for Krystal and her family.
Still, I have to hold onto hope that this lawsuit will bring some answers and accountability for the system that failed them. Maybe it'll spark some real change in how we handle these kinds of cases.
