Australia is set to face a tough test against England at Allianz Stadium on Saturday, with Tane Edmed starting at fly-half for the Wallabies. The 25-year-old has only started three Tests in his fledging career and will be up against an experienced opponent in George Ford.
Edmed's rival, Carter Gordon, is struggling with a quad strain and is not included in the matchday 23. Hamish Stewart will provide fly-half cover on the bench.
The Wallabies' backline has been bolstered by the return of Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii, Max Jorgensen, and Taniela Tupou, all of whom started last weekend's win over Japan. Hunter Paisami will continue his centre partnership with Suaalii in the absence of Len Ikitau, who has been in outstanding form for Exeter.
The back row has been strengthened by the return of regular captain Harry Wilson at number eight, with Rob Valetini and Fraser McReight completing a powerful unit. Nick Champion de Crespigny is among the replacements.
Australia finished third in the Rugby Championship with two wins from six games before flying to England, where they will face a team ranked above them in the world rankings.
