it's like every country is trying to protect its own interests, but we're all getting hurt in the process. europe's got a lot of great things going on, like our awesome labour market and digital investment, but it feels like we're stuck in neutral because of this protectionism stuff.
and china's just getting stronger by the minute!
they've got us wrapped around their finger with those rare earth metals, and it's making europe look weak. lagarde's right on point though - we need to reform our own problems before we start trying to fix others. lowering barriers to trade would be a great place to start. let's get back to being a cohesive and competitive eu economy!
