Exclusive | Mamdani a ‘key driver’ behind surge in interest in prestigious private school as NYC residents look to flee

I'm telling ya, this is crazy! You'd think that with all the options out there, people would be more chill about Mamdani's plans, but nope, they're freaking out like crazy! It's like they're trying to lock in their kids at these private schools before he even gets into office. I mean, I get it, the thought of public school is scary for some parents, but come on, let's not jump ship just yet.

And it's not just the schools, it's like the whole real estate market is getting swept up in this "Mamdani flight" business. Properties are selling left and right, and prices are sky-high! I'm starting to think that these rich families are more invested in Mamdani's success than they let on.

It's all about the status symbol, you know? These private schools are like the Ivy League of New York City – if your kid goes there, they're basically set for life. And with all these high-profile alumni, it's no wonder people want to get in on that action. But at what cost, though? Are we forgetting about the rest of the city and its real needs?

Anyway, I guess only time will tell if Mamdani's policies are worth the hype. Fingers crossed he doesn't mess up our education system!

I'm thinking... what's going on with these rich people and Zohran Mamdani 🤔. They're all like "oh no, he might ruin our kids' edu!" but like, isn't that the point of democracy? shouldn't we be having a discussion about how to make schools better for everyone?

And it's crazy how fast they're buying up homes in Greenwich, like they think Mamdani is some kinda superhero who'll just magically make their kids smarter 🤷‍♀️. But at the same time, I get why people are worried - if he does change the gifted and talented program, it could affect a lot of families.

I wonder how many of these rich folks have actually talked to teachers or parents in New York City schools before assuming they're all doomed 🤷‍♂️. And what's with all this emphasis on private schools? shouldn't we be focusing on making public schools better, like, now?

It's like, Mamdani's got a lot of power and influence, but does he really have the answers to these problems? 🤔 Only time will tell, I guess...
