Experience: a bear moved into my house

I'd been enjoying the evening with friends in Los Angeles when I stumbled upon a strange notification on my phone - a motion alert from one of the cameras around my house, capturing a massive black bear rummaging through my bins. It was the first time I'd encountered wildlife on my property before, but raccoons and skunks were nothing compared to this enormous intruder.

The next morning, I checked the critter-cams and watched in awe as the bear emerged from a tiny gap beneath my house, its massive body squeezed through an opening that seemed too small for it. My mind struggled to comprehend what I was seeing - the bear's size was undeniable, but how could it fit through such a narrow space? The camera footage showed hours of surveillance, with the bear repeatedly pushing its way into my home, leaving me bewildered and frustrated.

As the days went by, my life became divided between ordinary routine and the constant presence of this enormous creature. I monitored the cameras from afar, feeling like an owner observing an unwanted tenant beneath their floor. The little indoor cat, Boo, was particularly affected, often hearing strange noises coming from below and responding with wide-eyed terror.

The situation escalated when the Department of Fish and Wildlife became involved, deploying bear traps in a neighbor's driveway and laying scent trails that included tantalizing scents like sardines and cherries - but ultimately failed to lure the bear out. A new approach involving butterscotch proved equally unsuccessful, leaving me with a haunting association between this sweet treat and the massive predator living beneath my house.

Each time I watched the bear forcing its way through the narrow opening was painful, its body scraping against the woodwork as it squeezed through an impossible space. Despite my best efforts to block the entrance, even temporarily fitting in a wooden panel only led to a disconcerting swat from the massive creature's paw.

As word of the "Unbearable" bear spread throughout the neighborhood, the media descended upon me, and people began sharing their own encounters with this elusive giant. It was then that I learned it had tipped over trash cans in multiple yards - but it was my house that ultimately became its temporary home.

The Bear League organization eventually intervened, sending a team of brave men into the cramped space to scare the bear out using paintball guns filled with vegetable oil pellets. The ordeal finally came to an end when they successfully evicted this unwanted tenant from under my floor.

As I reflect on the experience, I feel both relief and sympathy for the massive creature. While it had overstayed its welcome in my home, I now know that it was searching for food and shelter in a desperate bid for survival. If I ever win the lottery, I'll make sure to build the bear its own sanctuary outside - somewhere where it can roam free without causing harm or destruction.

I mean, can you even imagine having a massive black bear living under your house 🀯? I know some people might say they're scared of wildlife, but I think this guy's story is actually kinda fascinating 🐻. Like, the bear's size and strength are just insane πŸ’ͺ. And how it managed to squeeze through that tiny gap beneath the house? That's wild 🌿.

But what really gets me is the part where you're watching it on camera and feeling like a landlord dealing with an unwanted tenant πŸ˜‚. I can imagine Boo, your little cat, being super stressed out by all the noise 🐱. And those Department of Fish and Wildlife people trying to catch it? Not gonna lie, that sounds super awkward 🀣.

Anyway, it's great that you're sympathetic towards the bear now and wanna build it a sanctuary if you win the lottery 🌟. Maybe we can even learn more about bears and how to coexist with them in a way that doesn't harm either humans or wildlife πŸ»πŸ’š. That'd be pretty cool 😊.

OMG u gotta feel 4 this massive black bear rummaging thru ppl's bins 🐻😱 like back in my day we had raccoons & skunks but this huge dude is a whole different story 🀯 how did it even squeeze thru that tiny gap under ur house tho?! πŸ€” i remember watching bears on Nat Geo Wild and they're so majestic but never thought they'd be living beneath our feet πŸ˜‚ u feelin me? πŸ™Œ

I just can't believe there's a massive black bear living under someone's house in LA 🐻😲! Like, how does it even fit through such a tiny gap? I watched some crazy footage of the thing pushing its way in and scraping against the woodwork... 😱 my poor cat Boo was traumatized too, hearing all those strange noises coming from below.

I feel bad for the bear, though - it's like it was desperate for food and shelter. And the fact that it got caught up in someone's trash cans is just sad πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ. The Department of Fish and Wildlife trying to catch it with traps and scent trails didn't seem very effective either.

I'm glad the Bear League came in and evicted the bear using paintball guns filled with vegetable oil pellets 🎯! It was like a wild animal rescue mission. But at the same time, I think we should be more understanding of animals struggling to survive. If I ever win the lottery, I'd totally build a sanctuary for this poor bear outside - where it can roam free and safe πŸŒ³πŸ’š

I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE THOSE LITTLE GUYS FROM THE BEAR LEAGUE WERE ABLE TO EVICT THE BEAR WITH PAINTBALL GUNS FILLED WITH VEGETABLE OIL PELLETS!!! I mean, that's just wild! I feel so bad for the bear, it was literally trapped in this tiny space beneath my house and had to force its way out. It makes sense now why it was so determined to get inside - food and shelter are hard to come by when you're a big bear like that.

I'M SO GLAD IT'S ALL OVER NOW AND THE BEAR CAN ROAM FREE AGAIN. And can we talk about how cute Boo the little indoor cat is?! Poor guy was so scared of the bear, but he's definitely earned his place in the neighborhood as the most adorable cat around!

🐻😩 omg what is up with these critter-cams?! like seriously who sets them up in their backyard?! 🀯 and a massive black bear rummaging through your bins is like the ultimate wild guest πŸ˜‚ but for real though how does it even fit under your house?! i'm dying over here wondering about those tiny gaps and how the bear squeezes through. and poor Boo, the indoor cat is literally shaking with terror 🐱😹. anywayz i feel for the bear, gotta admit it's a desperate bid for survival. if i won the lottery, id totes build a bear sanctuary outside for it πŸŒ³πŸ’š

idk... i mean, i think it's kinda cool that a massive black bear took up residence under this person's house 🀯. at the same time, who leaves their trash cans out for anyone to rummage through? maybe they should've invested in some bear-proof bins instead of complaining about the mess afterwards 🐻.

i'm not sure if i'd feel bad for the bear or just frustrated that it kept showing up uninvited to my house πŸ˜’. i mean, can't it see that there are better snacks out there than rummaging through trash? and what's with all these ridiculous attempts to lure it out using butterscotch and sardines?! πŸ€ͺ

but hey, at least the bear league guys were able to evict it without any harm. that's a positive, right? 😊

omg what a wild situation 🀯 i mean i get why u felt like an unwanted tenant watching that thing squeeze through ur floor lol πŸ˜‚ but on a more serious note, gotta give points to the bear for being super resourceful and desperate enough to take over ur home 🐻🏠 idk how many ppl would've dealt with such an extreme situation so calm n collected u r πŸ‘ the media & neighbors were all crazy tho πŸ“°πŸ‘₯

🐻😱 oh man, this is wild! i mean, who knew bears could squeeze through tiny gaps beneath houses? like, what's next? raccoons with ninja skills? 🀣 the fact that they were using scent trails and even butterscotch to lure it out is genius (and kinda sad for your trash cans). i can imagine how frustrating it must've been to watch this giant creature rummage through your bins all day. kudos to the bear league for stepping in with those paintball guns filled with veggie oil pellets - talk about a creative solution! 🎨 and i have to say, I'm kinda sympathetic towards the bear too... who hasn't felt like an unwanted tenant at some point? building it its own sanctuary outside is a great idea though πŸ’š maybe they'll even start a bear-relocation program for LA area homes πŸ πŸ’•

lol what's up with these bears getting into our homes?? like seriously, who needs Netflix when you've got a bear rummaging through your bins? 🀣 i mean i get it, they're just trying to survive, but can't they just go to the nearest walmart or something? πŸ˜‚ and btw, that butterscotch trick is genius... i'm pretty sure my cat would've been all about that sweet treat too πŸ±πŸ’β€β™€οΈ but for real tho, gotta feel bad for the bear, it's like the ultimate house guest crisis 🏠😳

I'm still shaking my head over this crazy story 🀯. Can you believe that massive black bear ended up living under someone's house in LA?! 🌴 It's like something out of a wildlife documentary, right? πŸ“Ί The camera footage is insane, especially when it shows the bear squeezing through that tiny gap – I mean, what even is possible here?! πŸ˜‚

But what really gets me is how much empathy this person has for the bear. Like, we're talking about a wild animal that's not exactly known for its house-sitting skills 🏠, and yet they can't help but feel bad for it. And who can blame them? It's clear that this bear was just trying to survive in a tough environment.

And I love how the person is already thinking about building a sanctuary for the bear if they win the lottery πŸ’Έ. Talk about being a good sport! πŸ† Maybe we'll see more people taking on wildlife-friendly initiatives and creating safe spaces for animals like this. Wouldn't that be awesome?! 🌟

omg 🀯 this is just great, bears taking over people's houses, what's next? like, how does a bear even fit through that tiny gap btw? πŸ€” and now they're using paintball guns filled with veggie oil pellets to scare it out... sounds like animal cruelty to me πŸ»πŸ˜’ anyway, i'm not surprised the media came sniffing around, always looking for a good drama story... people are just so gullible when it comes to wildlife "encounters" πŸ™„ and can we talk about how the bear's whole thing was probably just a bunch of hype from the start? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

OMG, u guys are dying!!! 🀯 A black bear living under someone's house?!?! That's wild! I'm glad they finally got rid of it but poor Boo the cat 🐈😨! And lol @ the Department of Fish and Wildlife trying everything except building a miniature IKEA table to lure the bear out πŸ˜‚. But seriously, it's crazy how much research went into finding a solution. The Bear League organization is literally the best πŸ’•. And can we talk about how I would totally donate my next mansion to build that sanctuary for the bear? 🏠🐻

πŸ™ This story is literally insane!!! 🀯 How does a bear even fit through a tiny gap beneath a house?! And what's up with the butterscotch bait? πŸ»πŸ˜‚ I mean, I get that wildlife is trying to survive and all, but this is just wild (pun intended)! The fact that it was rummaging through trash cans in multiple yards and making itself at home in your property is just crazy. And those paintball guns filled with veggie oil pellets? Genius solution! 🎯 But seriously, I can see why you'd want to build a bear sanctuary outside for the poor creature - it's like it was stuck between a rock and a hard place (literally!). Kudos to you for being understanding and sympathetic towards this massive intruder. πŸ‘

🐻 OMG, have you guys seen the video of this massive black bear taking over some dude's house in LA?! 🀯 I mean, I've heard of bears getting into trash cans before, but this is wild! The fact that it can squeeze through a tiny gap under the house and just makes itself at home is just mind-blowing. 😲 And poor Boo, the little indoor cat, must have been so traumatized hearing all those noises coming from below πŸ±πŸ’”

I'm kinda feeling for this bear, though - it's not like it was trying to cause any harm or anything, it's just desperate for food and shelter. Can you imagine being in that situation? 😩 And the whole Department of Fish and Wildlife thing is just... what even is that?! πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ Trying all these different methods to lure it out without actually catching it is pretty frustrating.

But hey, at least they were able to evict the bear and find it a new home ( hopefully somewhere with more decent snacks 🍞). And I love how this guy is planning on building a sanctuary for bears if he ever wins the lottery - that's just amazing! 🌟

I gotta say, who knew our LA neighborhood could be invaded by a massive black bear 🐻?! I mean, I'm no wildlife expert, but come on, how does it fit through that tiny gap? πŸ˜‚ And poor Boo, the little indoor cat, totally freaked out! 🐱😨 It's crazy to think about how much stress everyone was under while trying to figure out what to do with this furry "guest".

And you know what really got me? The whole ordeal made me realize how we need to be more mindful of our environment and the wildlife that lives in it. I mean, who says black bears can't just chill in a neighbor's yard, right? πŸ˜‚ But seriously, building a sanctuary for this bear is a genius idea - maybe we can even start a community project! πŸŒ³πŸ’š

omg this is crazy 🀯! i mean i've seen some weird things living in the city but a bear in your house?! that's wild πŸ˜‚. i feel bad for you and boo the cat, that must have been super stressful πŸ˜“. i guess it's good that the department of fish and wildlife got involved and eventually found a way to scare the bear out πŸ™Œ. it's actually kinda admirable that the bear was just trying to find food and shelter in such a harsh environment 🌎. building a sanctuary for it would be an amazing thing to do if you ever win the lottery πŸ’Έ, who knows maybe we'll see bears moving into urban areas more often in the future πŸ€”

🐻😩 this is wild! i mean i've seen some crazy animal encounters online but this takes the cake. like how did that thing even squeeze through a gap beneath your house? 🀯 and poor boo, the little indoor cat - it's not right that you're having to deal with this massive bear in your home while trying to live your life 😴. i'm glad the Bear League organization stepped in to evict the bear without causing any harm... but can we talk about why there isn't a bear-proof trash can design on the market yet? πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ that would've saved you and Boo so much stress πŸ™.

I feel bad for that bear πŸ»πŸ€—. It's wild how nature can just invade our homes, you know? I mean, who wouldn't want a cozy place to live, right? The paintball thing is kinda crazy though πŸ˜‚. But seriously, it's good the Bear League stepped in and helped get the bear out safely. Those cameras must've been so fascinating to watch πŸ“ΉπŸ‘€. And aw, poor Boo the cat was super traumatized 🐱😨. We should all be a little more empathetic towards wildlife, you know? They're just trying to survive like us πŸ’•. Maybe we can learn from this bear's experience and build some better homes for them outside 🏠🌳.
