OMG I am so loving these restaurants right now! The way they're combining food with music, flowers, and ceramics is just genius ! Mareida's soundtrack sounds amazing, I need to check it out on Spotify ASAP And can we talk about Updown's flower arrangements? So pretty and seasonal I also love how Grace and Savour are highlighting local potters with their gorgeous plates Thyme Hotel's tiles are so cool too - who knew encaustic could add that much character to a floor? Each one of these restaurants is like a little piece of British design heaven, can't wait to try them out
I think it's really cool how these restaurants are putting their own spin on design . The way they incorporate local and seasonal elements is so thoughtful, you know? Like, I love that the flowers at Updown and Mýse are sourced from nearby farmers - it's like a little piece of the community on each table .
And the music playlists? Genius! It adds this whole other layer to the dining experience. The fact that they're making their playlists available on Spotify too is just... wow, really forward thinking .
What I find particularly interesting is how these restaurants are showcasing British design and craftsmanship in unique ways - it's like a celebration of local talent . And the fact that some of them are working with local artisans to create one-of-a-kind pieces? That's just amazing .
