oh man I'm surprised by this result, I thought for sure Sanna Marin would hold on to power

. I mean, she was such a progressive leader and Finland was doing pretty well under her leadership

. But I guess the Finns (no pun intended

) just wanted some change of pace.
I gotta say, I'm a bit disappointed too, but also kinda excited to see what Petteri Orpo has in store for the country

. He's already talking about "fixing" Finland and curbing spending, which is pretty ambitious

. But hey, it'll be interesting to see how he navigates the coalition talks and gets things done

.
I'm also a bit worried about the rise of nationalism in Finland

. The Finns Party's rhetoric on immigration and austerity policies isn't exactly inspiring confidence

. Fingers crossed that Orpo can bring people together and find common ground

.
Anyway, it's time for Sanna Marin to pass the torch and let someone else take the reins

. I'm curious to see how she'll continue to shape politics in Finland from outside government

.
