I'm seeing a lot of red on my graph today, folks! The flu cases are surging nationwide, with over 700k hospitalizations in just 2 months! This is not what we need right now
. I've added some extra lines to show the increase in H3N2 subtype cases:

I'm not surprised, dude! Every year we're like "oh no, another flu season is here!" and the next thing you know, it's like a bad rom-com – all the sick people are running around, and we're all just trying to survive with tissues and Netflix 
. But seriously, get vaccinated, fam! It's not like we haven't been told this before... 
! I swear, didn't we just get over this last year? 
Anyway, I'm all for getting vaccinated, it's like, the best way to avoid getting sick. My grandma always says that if you've got your MMR shot, you're good to go... or so she thinks 
. Seriously though, it's really important to take precautions and look out for each other, especially with COVID-19 being around too. I'm just hoping the hospitals can handle all the extra patients

, flu season was a big deal back then too... but at least we had healthcare reform to help make it more accessible 
. Anyway, let's all just take care of each other and get vaccinated, okay?
