Football as a content machine: 18 Champions League games was fun but overstuffed | Max Rushden

I'm so over this Champions League format 😩. It's like they're trying to suffocate the beautiful game with too many matches. I mean, can't we just have a few quality games that actually matter instead of just a bunch of filler matches? And don't even get me started on the commentary - it's like they're trying to be entertaining at all costs, but sometimes it just comes across as annoying 🙄. Give me a break when Benfica scores a goal for the 5th time already! 😂 I do love Anatoliy Trubin's enthusiasm though 💪. The Premier League schedule during COVID was a lifesaver - less is more, you know? We need to take a step back and appreciate the simple things in life... like a quiet evening watching football without an event calendar in my face 📺😴.

🤯 I'm so over this new Champions League format! It's like they're trying to exhaust us football fans 😴💥 18 games in one week? Are they kidding me?! 🙄 I get it, it's exciting and all that jazz, but can't we just have a decent break every now and then? 🤔 I remember the Premier League schedule during COVID-19, that was a blessing! We could finally breathe for once 😌. Now it feels like we're stuck in some kind of never-ending nightmare 💀. And don't even get me started on commentary... sometimes I think they forget to talk about actual football 🤦‍♂️. Can we please just appreciate the simple things, like a great goal or a solid defense? 🙏 Maybe one day we'll be able to sit back and enjoy some quiet footy time without our phones blowing up with updates 📱.
