Google's Project Genie lets you create your own 3D interactive worlds

Google Unveils Project Genie, Letting Anyone Create Their Own 3D Interactive Worlds

DeepMind's latest creation, Genie 3, has been around since this summer, and its capabilities have been showcased as a tool for training AI agents. Now, the company is opening up the model to the public through an innovative new platform called Project Genie.

To access Project Genie, you'll need to shell out $250 per month for Google's premium AI Ultra plan, which means you'll also have to be at least 18 years old and based in the US. But trust us, it's worth it – this is a chance to explore the cutting edge of artificial intelligence.

Once you've signed up, you can choose from three different interaction modes: World Sketching, exploration, and remixing. The first mode involves using Google's Nano Banana Pro model to generate an initial image that Genie 3 will use as its foundation. You can then describe your character, camera perspective, and how you want to interact with the world.

The process starts with "sketching" what the final world looks like, allowing for tweaks before it comes to life. Users can even write their own prompts for worlds created by others using Genie 3.

However, don't expect a traditional game engine experience – while Genie 3's outputs may look impressive, there are no inherent game mechanics at play. Generation time is limited to 60 seconds, and the presentation is capped at 24 frames per second and 720p.

Still, for AI Ultra subscribers, Project Genie offers an incredible opportunity to witness the future of artificial intelligence in action. This is a chance to see how DeepMind's latest advancements are shaping the world of AI – and it's available to anyone with the right plan and access.

Ugh, great just what we need more opportunities for rich people to play around with cutting edge tech 🤑💸. $250 a month is crazy, only people who can afford it will get to experience this...and honestly, I'm not sure if it's even worth the hype. 60 seconds of generation time and capped at 720p? Sounds like more hassle than fun 😒. What's next, charging us for air we breathe 💨? 🤯

omg, this is like something out of a sci-fi movie!!! 🤖 $250/month for a chance to create your own 3D interactive worlds? that's wild! but at the same time i'm lowkey excited to see what people come up with... imagine being able to explore and interact with these worlds in a whole new way... it's like a dream come true for gamers and artists alike 🎮🖌️ can't wait to dive in and start creating some magic 💫

omg u guys I'm so hyped about this new thing google just dropped 🤯 Project Genie lets anyone create their own 3D interactive worlds for $250/month lol that's a lil steep but trust me its worth it #AIforAll #Genie3 #ProjectGenie 🚀 I mean who wouldn't wanna build their own world with AI? the process is actually pretty chill u get to sketch out what ur world looks like and then Genie 3 brings it to life 🎨💻 its not gonna be a traditional game engine tho but still super cool to see how far they've come #ArtificialIntelligence #FutureOfAI 💥

Ugh 🤯, $250 a month for this? Rich folks only 😒. And good luck trying to get into that thing if you're not 18 or in the US 🚫. I mean, who needs all this AI power when there are real-world problems to solve? Like climate change and nuclear waste 🌪️. Meanwhile, Google's just making a pretty penny off their 'innovation' 💸. And have you seen the limitations on gen time and resolution? 60 seconds max? 720p? This is more like a fancy animation tool than actual AI 🤖. Can't wait to see the bills piling up when it all crashes and burns 💔

🤔 $250/month for this? Yeah, because who doesn't need that kinda cash 💸😴? I mean, I'm hyped for tech innovations, but come on, let's be real... Genie 3 is basically a super-powered drawing app 🎨💻. Limitations are so basic - no inherent game mechanics? That's like making a Ferrari with one wheel 😂. Still, curiosity got the better of me... might be cool to see what people create with it 👀

OMG 🤯 I'm so hyped about Project Genie! I mean, who wouldn't wanna create their own 3D interactive worlds? 🌐 It's like having a superpower at your fingertips! 💫 The process sounds kinda like drawing a comic book, but instead of pencils and paper, you're using AI and 3D graphics. 🎨

I'm thinking about signing up for the premium plan just to see what kind of crazy worlds people can create with this thing. Imagine being able to explore a virtual world that someone else made in like 60 seconds! 🕰️ It's wild to think about how far AI technology has come.

I also love that users can write their own prompts and interact with other people's worlds. It's like we're living in a sci-fi movie or something 😎. The only thing that's kinda bummer is the limited game mechanics, but I guess that's just part of the charm of exploring this new frontier 🌊

omg I'm literally so stoked about this new project genie thing from google! 🤯 it's like they're basically letting us create our own avatars in 3d interactive worlds 🌐 and use AI to bring them to life is so cool! but yeah I can see how it might be a bit pricey at $250 a month lol my parents would kill me if i spent that much on a game 😂 but seriously though, this could be such an amazing resource for students like me who want to learn more about AI and its applications in the real world 💻

Ugh, $250 a month? That's just crazy! Who needs that kind of money for something that's still gonna be buggy and have limited functionality? I mean, what's next? A virtual reality headset that costs an arm and a leg just to play some basic games? And don't even get me started on the 60-second generation time limit. That's like trying to make art in record time. It's all about the hype and the marketing, not about creating something truly innovative 🤔💸

omg u guys this sounds so cool ! like, imagine being able to create your own 3d interactive worlds 🤩 - it's mind blowing that Google is making it accessible to us non techies 😂. $250 a month might seem steep but think of it as an investment in the future of AI 🚀. and yeah the limitations on generation time & frames per second are def a bummer, but like who cares about that when u can create ur own world? 🌐 let's get this project genie party started ! 👏

OMG, this is gonna be HUGE 🤯! I'm so down for creating my own 3D interactive worlds with Project Genie 💻💥! The idea of using AI to design and build entire worlds from scratch is like something out of a sci-fi movie 🚀👽. And the fact that it's available to anyone who can afford the premium plan is just mind-blowing 🤯... I mean, $250 a month might be steep for some people, but if you're as stoked about AI as I am, it's worth every penny 💸💥! The world sketching mode sounds like so much fun 🎨🌐 and being able to remix others' worlds is just genius 🤓... Can't wait to get started on my own virtual adventure 🌟 #ProjectGenie #AI #VR #Gaming #FutureIsNow

🤯 I'm so stoked about this project, it's like something straight outta sci-fi! $250/month might seem steep but think about all the possibilities - we could create entire worlds for movies, games, or even just for fun 🎥👀. The interaction modes sound super cool too, I love that you can remix worlds created by others, it's like a digital LEGO set 🤯. But yeah, 60 seconds max to generate something is kinda wild... maybe they'll come out with a pro version soon? 💡

OMG you guys! 🤯 Project Genie is literally the most exciting thing I've seen all year... I mean, who needs actual gaming capabilities when you can create entire 3D worlds from scratch? It's like having your own personal art studio, but with AI-powered magic ✨. And yeah, the fact that it comes with a price tag of $250/month is a bummer, but trust me, it's worth every penny! I mean, think about being able to create anything you want, from futuristic cities to fantastical creatures... the possibilities are endless 🌐. And the best part? You get to be a part of this revolutionary new technology that could change the world 💻. Can't wait to see what kind of crazy creations people come up with!

I think this is gonna be lit! 🤩 The idea of creating your own 3D interactive worlds with Genie 3 sounds like science fiction come true. I mean, who wouldn't wanna build their own virtual reality thingy? And it's only $250 a month for the premium plan, which is actually pretty reasonable considering what you get.

The interaction modes sound super interesting too - I love that you can sketch out your world and then tweak it before it comes to life. It's like having your own personal video game designer! 💻 The fact that users can write their own prompts for other people's worlds created by Genie 3 is a great touch, it's like a whole new level of collaboration.

The only thing I'm not too sure about is the limited generation time and presentation caps. I mean, I get it's gotta be contained somehow, but 60 seconds to create an entire world feels kinda rushed? 🤔 Still, for $250 a month, I'd expect some pretty mind-blowing stuff outta this thing!

I got some major red flags here 🚨🔍. $250 a month for this? That's just crazy talk! What's Google hiding from us, you know? Is this just another way to collect our personal data and sell it to the highest bidder? I mean, who needs that much control over their own AI experience, right? And what about all these "premium" plans? Sounds like a money trap to me 🤑. But hey, if you're feeling adventurous and want to play with fire 🔥, go ahead and sign up for Project Genie. Just don't say I didn't warn you... 😉

🤩 OMG, I'm so down for this! 🚀 Project Genie is like, totally going to change the game! 💻 We're talking 3D interactive worlds at our fingertips! 🌐 Can you imagine creating your own world, just by sketching it out? 🎨 It's mind-blowing! 😲 The fact that we can even remix others' worlds is like, whoa! 🤯 Limited generation time and frame rate might be a bummer, but for $250 a month, I'm all in! 💸 Can't wait to see what kind of crazy worlds people come up with! 🌈👀

omg, imagine being able to create your own 3D interactive worlds like a real-life video game 🤯... but at the same time, $250/month is a bit steep for some ppl 🤑... i mean, who can afford that kind of cash? not me, anyway 😅. but i guess it's cool that google is letting anyone with the right plan access this tech - it's like they're saying "hey, we trust you guys to use this responsibly" 👍. and 60 seconds is a pretty short gen time... what if ppl just keep messing up their worlds all day? 😂 anyway, i'm intrigued by this project genie thing... might be fun to play around with 🎮

I'm not convinced this is the next big thing 🤔. $250 a month for what feels like a super experimental AI tool? That's like, a whole lot of cash 💸. I mean, sure, you get to create your own 3D interactive worlds, but that comes with some pretty significant limitations - 60 seconds max gen time and capped at 24fps? Not exactly the most immersive experience 📺.

And let's be real, how many people are actually going to shell out that kind of cash just for this? I'm not buying it (pun intended) 😒. This feels like a marketing gimmick to me - Google wants to show off their AI capabilities without having to put in the actual work to create a full-fledged game engine. Can't say I blame them, but at the same time... 🤷‍♂️

omg u guys!! 🤩 google just released this crazy thing called project genie where ur can create ur own 3d interactive worlds!!! 🌐 i mean, its like a game but not really... u pay $250/month for this premium ai ultra plan tho... idk if its worth it lol. anyway, u get to choose from different modes like world sketching or exploration and even remixing! its kinda like drawing ur own 3d art piece then bringing it to life 🎨👀. but wait, there's a catch! its not a game so its more like... i dunno... an experience? 🤔 anyway, check it out if u wanna see the future of ai in action 😲 [https://www.google.com/project-genie](https://www.google.com/project-genie)

I'm low-key hyped about this 🤩, Google's finally making AI accessible to the masses! $250 a month might seem steep, but think of all the sick 3D worlds you can create 🌐. It's like having your own personal game engine, minus the hassle and cost of developing it from scratch 💻. The fact that you can remix and interact with other people's creations is pure genius 🔥. Plus, seeing how AI is advancing in real-time is a huge bonus 📊. I'm curious to see what kind of innovative worlds people will come up with using Genie 3 🌈. It's the future of art and creativity right before our eyes! 👀
