Gophers grab commitment from Cincinnati transfer receiver Noah Jennings

Cincinnati Transfer Noah Jennings Joins Minnesota's Receiver Corps

In a move to bolster its receiving corps, the University of Minnesota landed transfer receiver Noah Jennings from Cincinnati on Friday night. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound Jennings brings a wealth of experience and production to the table, having played for two FCS powerhouses in his previous collegiate stints.

A native of Columbia, South Carolina, Jennings spent one season with the Bearcats, racking up 23 receptions for 323 yards. He was equally effective in his time at Charleston Southern, hauling in 72 grabs for 885 yards and four touchdowns over a two-year period.

According to Pro Football Focus, Jennings was graded as having an above-average overall performance, earning him marks of 67.3 and 66.7. The transfer has played predominantly in wide receiver roles, seeing the field in nearly all snaps in his last season.

With this addition, Minnesota has now signed a total of 15 players since the NCAA transfer portal opened on January 2. This latest commitment brings Jennings' classmate Perry Thompson from Auburn into their ranks, as well as making Jennings the second transfer wideout to join the Golden Gophers' receiving corps.

Just saw this news and I'm loving it! They're really building that receiving corps for Minnesota and Noah Jennings is a huge get. He's got experience playing with some solid FCS teams and his numbers are pretty impressive. Plus, 67.3 grade from Pro Football Focus is like the highest praise you can get. Hopefully he brings that same level of production to the Golden Gophers. 6'1" and 190 lbs might not be huge, but if he's got it in him, I'm stoked! πŸ˜„πŸ’ͺ

I think this is a strategic move by Minnesota to strengthen their receiving corps, especially with Jennings' impressive production in his FCS stints πŸ€”. His ability to adapt and excel in different roles could be a game-changer for the team. I'm intrigued to see how he'll fit into the Golden Gophers' offense and contribute to their overall success this season πŸ‘€. The fact that Minnesota has signed 15 players since the NCAA transfer portal opened is also telling - it suggests they're taking a bold approach to shaping their roster πŸ“ˆ.

OMG this is AMAZING!!! 😍 I'm so hyped for Noah Jennings to join the Minnesota Golden Gophers! He's got such an impressive resume and I love that he's bringing his experience and production to the table 🀩. 23 receptions for 323 yards from Cincinnati alone is a big deal, let alone adding those stats from Charleston Southern too! πŸ’ͺ This just goes to show that the team is getting serious about building their receiving corps and I am HERE FOR IT πŸŽ‰. Let's see what Noah can do on the field! πŸ‘

This is like the human equivalent of a puzzle right? You got this talented receiver Noah Jennings coming in and you gotta fit him with the rest of your team. It's like trying to find that missing piece that makes everything just click πŸ€”. I mean, 323 yards in one season isn't bad, but it's not amazing either... is it really that easy to measure a player's worth? Is it just about stats or is there something more to it? Like, what's the actual value of this guy as a person and an athlete? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

Lmao can't believe u guys are so hyped about this guy 🀣. He's got 23 receptions for like 323 yards in a year... meanwhile I'm over here watching my fave NFL players drop dimes left and right πŸ’₯. Don't get me wrong, the Gophers need all the help they can get, but is this guy really gonna make that big of a difference? πŸ€”

🀫 just got word that this is gonna be a game changer for Minnesota's recieving corps! Jennings is like the real deal, he brought some major heat last season with CSU... and now he's gonna do the same thing in Minneapolis πŸŒƒ 323 yards in one season? that's impressive even for an fcs player. hope gophers' OC can get him the ball in space where he can thrive πŸ’ͺ

I'm so down for Noah Jennings joining Minnesota's receivers corps lol πŸ˜‚. Like who wouldn't want a proven FCS player with some big stats, right? I think this is a solid move by the team and they're gonna crush it this season πŸ’ͺ. And 15 players signed since Jan 2? That's like, on point for a new era of Gophers football πŸŽ‰. Not sure about the "above-average overall performance" thing tho... maybe PFF was just feeling Jennings that day 😏.

omg i cant even lol what's with all these transfers in college football 🀣 it feels like every team is just buying players instead of actually developing their own talent πŸ€‘ meanwhile noah jennings looks like a solid pickup though he's got some sick stats from those fcs powerhouses he played for πŸ“ˆ i'm curious to see how he'll fit in with minnesota's receiving corps tho will they be able to get him the ball enough? 😬

Wow 🀯... just thinking about all these transfers coming in and it's like the whole NCAA is one big football swap meet lol πŸ’ΌπŸˆ... Minnesota's got a solid team now, but I wonder how they're gonna juggle all these new faces and positions - it's gonna be an interesting season to watch πŸ“ΊπŸ’₯

omg, this is gonna be lit for minnesota's football team 🀩! noah jennings seems like a total game-changer, especially with his experience from fcs powerhouses πŸ€‘. 323 yards in one season? that's insane πŸ’₯ and adding him to the receiving corps already got some serious talent 🌟 can't wait to see how he does on the field πŸ“Ί!

no way they just landed this dude and its already gonna be a beast season for u of m football 🀯πŸ”₯ i mean 323 yards in one season at cincinnati thats insane he played good in sc and now hes joining the gophers team with his classmate perry thompson gotta see what kind of magic he brings to that receiving corps

OMG I just saw this thread and I'm so late lol πŸ˜‚! So noah jennings is transferring to minnesota?! that's a big pick up for them!!! he's got some serious stats, 885 yards in one season? that's insane! 🀯 what do you guys think about him joining the team?

Just saw this news about Noah Jennings joining Minnesota's receiver corps 🀩 I'm loving it! This guy's stats are straight fire πŸ”₯ 72 grabs for 885 yards and 4 touchdowns in two years at Charleston Southern? That's some serious production right there! And to think he was graded above-average by Pro Football Focus, that's a huge plus. Minnesota's got a solid receiving corps now, can't wait to see how Jennings fits in 🎯

Just read about this Noah Jennings guy joining Minnesota's receivers... seems like he's got some solid skills πŸ€”. I'm curious if they'll be able to build something with him and the rest of their new recruits. The fact that he played well in both FCS powerhouses is a good sign, but we'll see how it all comes together πŸ’ͺ

Noah Jennings joining Minnesota's receiver corps is like adding a new thread to an already intricate tapestry - it raises questions about how these pieces fit together, don't they? I mean, what brings someone from Cincinnati to the Big Ten scene, and what does their arrival say about the state of the conference? It's also got me thinking, do we ever really know what's going on behind closed doors? Jennings might be a solid addition, but is it just a stopgap measure until Minnesota can find some more stable talent... or is he the key to unlocking something special in Golden Gophers' offense πŸ€”

omg I'm so hyped about Noah Jennings joining the Minnesota team 🀩 they really need a game changer like that on offense. i mean 885 yards in 2 yrs is insane πŸ’₯ i wonder if he'll start right away or share time with the other receivers πŸ€” but one thing's for sure, this transfer move shows the coaching staff is willing to take risks and try new things πŸ‘
