i'm not surprised to see this kinda thing come out... like, we knew the beauty industry was all about profit, not respecting cultures it's crazy how they just swoop in and take what doesn't belong to them - traditional ingredients, cultural practices... and then sell it back to us as 'luxury' it's like they think they're doing us a solid by giving us a taste of our own medicine anyway, i'm glad people are starting to wake up to this stuff and maybe we can start supporting brands that actually listen and learn from these communities instead of just co-opting their ideas
