'I don't want to resent the thing I love': Paul Mescal and Josh O'Connor on romance, rationing and retirement

I think it's super admirable that Colin O'Donoghue and Timothée Chalamet are being so open about their struggles with mental health and fame 🤗. It takes a lot of courage to admit when you're not okay, especially in an industry where people are always watching and waiting for the next big thing.

I do think it's interesting that they both mentioned stepping away from acting as a way to prioritize their mental health 💭. I'm not sure if I'd want to give up acting altogether (I love stories too much), but maybe taking a break or scaling back on projects could be helpful? As for the future scenario where Colin becomes relatively unknown, I think it's funny that he imagines being cast in "Merrily We Roll Along" and people wondering why he was chosen 🤣. It shows how different life can be when we're not under the spotlight all the time.

What I do wish they'd talk more about is how to maintain a healthy work-life balance 📚💼. It's one thing to prioritize your mental health, but another to figure out how to make that sustainable in the long term. Maybe they can give us some advice on that front? 😉

🤯 I'm totally feeling Colin O'Donoghue right now, you know? He's talking about how hard it is to deal with the pressure of being an actor and how it affects your mental health 🤕... like, I can relate on a personal level too, not just as a fan, but also because I've been there with gaming, always feeling the need to perform at my best 😅. And Timothée Chalamet's thoughts about self-care are so right on point 💆‍♂️... we all need that balance in our lives, you know? It's not just about the acting itself, but also how it affects your overall well-being 🤝. I love how they're having this open and honest conversation about their experiences as actors 📺... it's so refreshing to see them being vulnerable and empathetic towards each other 💕.
