I gotta say, I'm both relieved and kinda bummed about this news


. On one hand, it's awesome that scientists are double-checking the evidence and finding some of those initial findings to be a bit sketchy

. I mean, 33 participants in an experiment? That's like doing a study on your whole life with just 3 friends

On the other hand, it is pretty wild to think about all the plastic we're putting into our bodies without even realizing it


. I mean, what if we do have microplastics in our livers and we don't even know it? It's like, how much do we really know about the stuff we put in our own bodies?!
Anyway, this is definitely a development that raises some interesting questions

. Maybe now we can get to the bottom of what's really going on with microplastics and start making more informed decisions about our health and the environment
