man I'm so sad for Jen Mink and everyone in St Paul 
. It's crazy that Jett fought till the end, he was literally giving his all to stay alive 
. The fact that he showed such courage is just amazing, it's clear he had a huge heart 
. I'm sure there are so many people who would've loved to see him honored for his service if he were human... maybe that'll happen now 
. What's crazy is how much impact one animal can have on people's lives, Jett may not be with us anymore but his spirit will live on

i mean, 28 yrs old is old for a horse to be fighting bowel issues... it just goes to show how tough they are 
and jett's story is just heartbreaking - he was doing so well as a cop horse and then BAM, bowel impaction 
... his owner must've been going through hell with him 
. cremation sounds like a great idea tho, i can see why she'd wanna do that to honor him
