This is really frustrating for a lot of people who are counting on this plan to help them get back on their feet. I feel so bad for all those families who can't afford a safe and decent place to live . It's like the city is saying it cares about affordable housing, but then just delays everything over and over again . The fact that some council members are trying to make sure the plan is done "equitably" sounds good on paper, but what does that even mean in practice? Will they be able to actually get the funding out to those who need it most? I'm just worried about all the people who are going to be hurt by this delay...
omg cant believe what's happening w/ philly's affordable housing plan 2 billion investment delayed till 2026? that's ages! whats gonna happen to all those ppl waiting for homes? council is trying 2 do eq stuff but it feels like they're just makin moves 4 themselves & btw $800m in bonds is a tiny fraction of the original 2billion i mean, cant we jus get shovels in da ground already?!
