Sisters Katie and Alison Crutchfield, along with MJ Lenderman and Brad Cook, are set to embark on their first – and potentially only – tour as the indie rock quartet Snocaps. Announced in early November, the six-date outing will see the band perform at select venues in Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York City, playing two nights each in these locations.
The group's lineup for the tour includes a diverse range of supporting acts, including Ryan Davis, Cloakroom, Graham Hunt, Slippers, Mike Krol, Brennan Wedl, and The Roadhouse Band. Each show will feature a different opener, showcasing the breadth of Snocaps' musical influences.
Tickets for all shows are set to go on sale on November 7 at 10 a.m., with an artist pre-sale scheduled to begin on November 5. Interested fans can find full tour details and information on how to secure tickets on the Snocaps website.
Snocaps recently made their public debut, releasing their self-titled album on October 31. The 13-track record marks Katie's Waxahatchee and Alison's former band Swearin' debut as a collaborative effort since P.S. Eliot in 2011. The Crutchfield sisters penned all the songs for Snocaps, with Lenderman and Cook contributing to guitar work and vocals.
Katie has teased that the tour setlist will include tracks from both Snocaps and past projects, including Waxahatchee's early albums, as well as Alison's 2017 solo LP Tourist In This Town. She expressed her excitement about revisiting older material with a fresh perspective, stating that it feels "new" again.
While the band has not indicated whether they plan to continue touring beyond December, Katie wrote that they currently have no additional shows booked, describing the project as "ripe for recurrence." For now, fans are invited to catch Snocaps while tickets remain available.
