Latest news on Afghan suspect accused of ambushing 2 National Guard members in D.C.

"Afghan Suspect Accused of Ambushing US National Guardsmen in D.C.

A shocking attack has shaken the nation's capital as two US National Guard members were ambushed on Wednesday. The suspect behind the violent act is a 45-year-old Afghan national, Rahmanullah Lakanwal, who recently gained entry to the United States in 2021.

According to authorities, Lakanwal is an individual with ties to the CIA and has worked closely with the US government in the past. However, it appears that his allegiance may have shifted, sparking a "calculated attack" against two unsuspecting National Guardsmen.

Law enforcement officials are treating this incident as a deliberate act of violence, leaving many wondering about the motivations behind Lakanwal's actions. The FBI is currently investigating the incident and working to determine if there were any other individuals involved in the attack."

can't believe what's goin on in DC 🤯! some dude from afghanistan just goes and ambushes US soldiers... like, what's his beef? doesn't make sense. and yeah, CIA ties or not, it's still a huge deal. gotta wonder if he was radicalized or somethin', but at the same time, we can't just assume everything without proof 🤔. FBI's doin their thing, but this feels like a major security breach... how did he even get into the country in 2021? shoulda been flagged 🚫. either way, my heart goes out to those 2 guardsmen who got hurt 💔. hope they recover soon 💪.

What's going on with our borders? I mean, how did someone who was supposed to be working with us end up trying to harm us like that? 🤔 It's just so confusing. I'm worried about my own family's safety now... what if someone with a grudge walks into the US?

I also can't help but wonder if there were any red flags missed. We've got this person living in the country, working with our government, and suddenly they turn violent? It raises so many questions. And what about all these other people who might have connections to the CIA or the government? Are we really doing enough to vet everyone coming into the country?

I'm not saying it's the fault of anyone, but something needs to change. We can't just keep letting people walk in and out of our country without proper checks and balances. It's time for some serious reform. 🚨

just think its crazy what happens here like every day 🤯... i mean we all know theres been tensions between afghan ppl & usa but to have someone from afghanistan do something like this is just out of the blue. and yeah im surprised he had ties to the cia too, thats deep. how did that work out for him tho? was it all good while he was working with them? also gotta wonder if there were other ppl involved in this or was it really just this one guy 💡

I'm still trying to figure out what happened with the avocado toast prices lately... like, I get that it's a natural fluctuation or whatever, but $10 a slice? That's just crazy talk! 🤯 Have you guys seen those Instagram influencers raving about their artisanal avocado toast? Like, come on, folks, it's just a fruit on top of some bread. Where's the value in all that?

What's going on with these visas? I mean, how does someone just show up in 2021 and get all access? 🤔 It sounds like a recipe for disaster. And now this... an Afghan national, huh? Just what we need. More questions than answers. Can't say I'm surprised though. The whole system's got its problems. 🚫

just got word about this crazy stuff that went down in DC 🤯... so we're telling ourselves it's just a random act of violence but I'm not buying it. who's to say this guy's CIA connections are legit? what if he was hired for a job and then just decided to go rogue? and what about the fact that he got into the country in 2021? how did he even get approved? all these questions are bugging me... seems like we're jumping to conclusions here 🤔.

omg what's going on here?? 🤯 so like this dude Rahmanullah Lakanwal just walks into the US in 2021 and suddenly he's got ties to the CIA? that's wild 🤔 i mean we all know how hard it is to get a green card, let alone work with the agency itself. it raises so many questions about vetting processes and security clearances... or lack thereof 💼 anyway back to the attack - two National Guardsmen just lying there waiting for some psycho to come along and shoot them up 😡 hope they both got the help they need, physically and mentally. i'm curious to see what kinda investigation comes out of this... 🕵️‍♂️

Omg 🤯 just heard about this 😱 can't believe what happened in D.C. 🌆 two soldiers ambushed for no reason 🚫 it's so sad 😔 and scary 😨 at the same time. I'm all for questioning those in power 💪 but you don't have to take matters into your own hands 🔫 or hurt innocent people 🤕. The US government needs to do more to keep its citizens safe 🛡️ this is just not right 🙅‍♂️. How can someone who's worked with the CIA turn against us? 🤔 it makes no sense 💥. Hope they catch the guy and bring him to justice ⚖️ soon ⏱️

🤯 I mean, what's going on with these terrorist attacks lately? 🚫 First, it was Paris, then Orlando, now D.C... It feels like our national security is being compromised. And let me get this straight, the guy who did it, he had ties to the CIA? What kind of allegiance shift are we talking about here? 😒 One minute he's working with us, the next minute he's trying to kill some poor National Guardsmen. This just doesn't add up.

And I'm not saying that the Afghan government isn't doing enough to address this issue... but come on, how did one guy slip through the cracks like this? 🤔 It makes me wonder if we're doing something wrong as a nation to prevent these types of attacks in the first place. And what about our vetting process? Was it really that lax to let someone with suspicious ties into the country in 2021?

I don't have all the answers, but I do know one thing - this just doesn't feel right. We need some real transparency and accountability here... 💡
