Latin Grammys 2025 Recap: Bad Bunny Wins Big, Karol G Dances & More | Billboard News

Bad Bunny Brings the Heat to 2025 Latin Grammys

The Las Vegas leg of the Latin Grammys had it all - spectacular performances, record-breaking wins, and heartfelt dedications. At the forefront of this excitement was Bad Bunny, who dominated the night with his critically acclaimed album 'Debí Tirar Más Fotos'. The reggaeton superstar took home Album of the Year, solidifying his position as a leader in Latin music.

Bad Bunny's performance of "WELTiTA" with Chuy showcased his versatility and ability to blend genres seamlessly. The energy was palpable as he commanded the stage, leaving the audience in awe. Not to be outdone, Karol G brought her own brand of sass and dance moves to the show, winning Song of the Year for her chart-topping hit.

CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso were also big winners at the 2025 Latin Grammys, taking home five awards between them. Their performance was met with enthusiasm from the crowd, including a star-studded rendition of CA7RIEL's hit "Marlboro Rojo" by Fuerza Regida's JOP.

Meanwhile, Alicia Villarreal and Marco Antonio Solís reunited on stage for a thrilling performance that left fans breathless. Gloria Estefan used her acceptance to honor the love of her life, Emilio, in a touching tribute that warmed hearts everywhere.

The night also saw the likes of Alejandro Sanz bring Madrid to Las Vegas with his powerful performances, and Ángela Aguilar's victory was met with pride as she accepted on behalf of Cristian Nodal.

omg I'm so hyped for Bad Bunny winning Album of the Year 🤩🎉! Debí Tirar Más Fotos is literally the best album I've listened to all year, and he totally deserved that win! His live performance was insane - who else can blend reggaeton with other genres like that? 🤯 The crowd was loving it too, and I'm not surprised when I saw how emotional Karol G's Song of the Year win was 🎶. And did you see CA7RIEL's performance with Fuerza Regida? That guy is a total rockstar 😲!

I'm not buying all this hype about Bad Bunny being a "leader in Latin music". I mean, have you seen his album sales? Not bad, but not record-breaking like they're saying. And what's up with these Grammys being held in Vegas? I thought we were supposed to be celebrating Latin culture back home, not abroad 🤔

And can we talk about the lack of representation for other genres? I know reggaeton and salsa are popular, but what about vallenato or cumbia? They're just as rich in history and culture, but I never see them getting any love at these awards shows.

Also, CA7RIEL's performance was meh, IMHO. I've seen more fire performances from lesser-known artists 🙅‍♂️ And don't even get me started on the judging criteria - five awards for two people? That's just a whole lotta bias 😒

omg that bad bunny album "Debí Tirar Más Fotos" is SO fire 🔥 i mean who else can blend reggaeton with other genres like that? 🤯 and karol g's performance was EVERYTHING 💃🏽💁‍♀️ her sass level is on 10 😂 also, ca7riel and paco amoroso slayed the stage together 🎸💥 glad to see alicia villarreal and marco antonio solís performing again too 💕 their performance was so emotional 🙏 and gloria estefan's tribute to emilio was really sweet ❤️

I'm so hyped for Bad Bunny!!! 🤩 He totally killed it tonight! That album 'Debí Tirar Más Fotos' is straight fire 🔥 and I love how he experimented with all those genres - reggaeton, Latin trap, whatever you wanna call it 😂. And can we talk about Karol G's performance? Girl crush 💁‍♀️ She slayed that stage and her song "Mamiii" was EVERYTHING 🤩. And what a surprise to see CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso win so many awards! They're like the power couple of Latin music 💕. Gloria Estefan's tribute to Emilio was super emotional, I'm getting chills thinking about it... 😭

🎉 I'm loving how Bad Bunny brought the heat at the Latin Grammys this year! His album 'Debí Tirar Más Fotos' is literally a game-changer. The way he blends genres and gets the crowd pumped up is pure magic 🔮💥 And can we talk about Karol G's sass level? 💁‍♀️🔥 She totally deserved that Song of the Year win! 😎 I'm also super happy for Alicia Villarreal and Marco Antonio Solís - their reunion performance was everything ❤️ And Gloria Estefan's tribute to Emilio was so beautiful... it had me getting all emotional 🌟

I gotta say, some ppl think Bad Bunny is getting too old for this whole "superstar" thing. I mean, he's still putting out hits and winning awards at 32! What's wrong with us? Shouldn't we be celebrating his longevity in the industry instead of worrying about him aging? 🤷‍♂️ Plus, what's not to love about reggaeton? It's like a fusion of salsa and hip-hop – can't go wrong with that! And those collabs on stage? Iconic performances if I do say so myself 💥

🤩 OMG I'm still reeling from last night's Latin Grammys! Bad Bunny totally slayed the game - that album 'Debí Tirar Más Fotos' is fire 🔥. I love how he blended genres and brought the heat to that stage. Karol G killing it with her sass and dance moves 💃🕺, Song of the Year was well-deserved.

I'm also super stoked for CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso - five awards? Mind blown 🤯. And Alicia Villarreal and Marco Antonio Solís' reunion performance was pure magic ✨. Gloria Estefan's tribute to Emilio was so sweet and heartfelt ❤️. Alejandro Sanz bringing that Madrid vibe to Las Vegas was epic, and Ángela Aguilar's win was a total Cinderella story 🌟.
