Leaked NIL info may have pushed top Ole Miss LB to Lane Kiffin, LSU

Ole Miss linebackers, including star TJ Dottery, are feeling the pain after leaked NIL deals allegedly shook up the team's roster. A major blow to the Rebels was former head coach Lane Kiffin leaving for LSU, leaving current coach Pete Golding with a challenging task.

Things took a turn when some internal documents from Ole Miss reportedly surfaced, revealing new Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) terms that had upset several veteran players on the team. Dottery, who played a crucial role in this season's defense, is among those who reacted by transferring to LSU - his former coach.

Although he has many options available, sources believe that LSU is the clear destination for Dottery. The Tigers are looking to strengthen their roster with several big transfers, including quarterback Sam Leavitt and defensive edge-rusher Jordan Ross.

Dottery's decision to join Kiffin in Baton Rouge may have been influenced by the recent leak of NIL deals within Ole Miss. His departure leaves a significant void in the Rebels' defense, and the team is struggling to bring back their star linebacker.

It remains to be seen whether Ole Miss can rekindle Dottery's interest and secure his return for next season. However, one thing is certain - Kiffin has built momentum with several top recruits choosing to join him at LSU.

You know what's weird? I was just thinking about this the other day... have you ever noticed how some foods are just better when they're not in a specific type of container? Like, take pizza, for example. When it's in a box, it's fine, but when you slice it and serve it on a plate, it's like a whole different experience! My grandma used to make the best pizza at family gatherings, and she always said that was because she'd serve it straight from the oven, still warm...

man... the drama unfolding in Ole Miss 🤯♂️ is just crazy dottery leaving like that is so sudden i feel bad for golding trying to rebuild his defense without dottery it's not easy losing a star player like that but you gotta respect kiffin for building momentum with all those top recruits coming to LSU 🚀 he's definitely got a strong team now and who knows maybe this move will pay off for him

omg u guys i cant even rn!! TJ Dottery leaving ole miss for lsu is like a punch in the gut lol but on the bright side lane kiffin is killin it over there 🤩 he got that momentum goin and recruiting top talent is his thing now 😎 my heart is with dottery tho...i hope he has 2nd thoughts & comes back to ole miss, tbh its hard 2 see him in lsu red 🙅‍♂️

🤔 just thinking about TJ Dottery leaving Ole Miss is a big blow, but what's even more concerning is that this leak of NIL deals might be the norm now... all these young players are making more money than they ever could've imagined playing in college and it's like the whole system has been turned upside down 💸😒

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this whole NIL deal drama in Oxford 😩. I mean, I get it, college athletes want to make that dough, but come on! It's like they're all playing by their own rules now 🤯. And what's up with Ole Miss letting this info leak? It's like they're asking for trouble ⚠️.

And yeah, I knew Kiffin was leaving, but LSU going all out to poach his star player is just not right 🤷‍♂️. Pete Golding's got his work cut out for him if he wants to keep the team together 🔥. I'm hoping Dottery comes back, but with all these other top recruits jumping ship, it's hard to see him joining Kiffin at LSU again 🤔.

I think the real winner here is Sam Leavitt and Jordan Ross - they're getting a fresh start in Baton Rouge 😎. Meanwhile, Ole Miss is just trying to pick up the pieces... again 😩. This whole NIL thing is crazy 💸.

🤔 just wondering how much influence a leaked NIL deal really has on someone's decision to transfer... like, can't we all just agree on the numbers and move on? 🤑 i feel bad for Dottery & his teammates tho, losing a star player in the middle of the season is tough. 🤕 hopefully ole miss can regroup & attract some new talent 💪 but it's clear lane kiffin has made a big impact at lsu... that guy knows how to bring in recruits 📈

OMG 😱 that's like soooo sad for Ole Miss!!! I mean I know Lane Kiffin is a genius coach and all but leaving for LSU still hurts 🤕... those guys must be feeling the pain after those leaked NIL deals came out, it's crazy how much drama 💸... TJ Dottery transferring to his old coach? That's like the ultimate betrayal 😒... hope Pete Golding can bring back some of that magic or at least find a decent replacement for Dottery 🤞... and btw who knew LSU was going to be so popular with all those big transfers?! 🔥 Sam Leavitt and Jordan Ross, huh? Those guys better deliver or else 🤦‍♂️
