Library Company of Philadelphia, founded by Benjamin Franklin in 1731, agrees to merger with Temple University

omg y'all can u blieve philly's library co is gettin merged w/ temple univ? its like ben franklin's legacy lives on! 🤯 they wanna keep all the old books & stuff and just add some fancy research programs 2 it. cant say i'm surprised tho, libraries r always tryin 2 stay relevant lol. but idk if its a good idea, imo. whats gonna happen 2 the librarys independence? still got my hopes up tho, cld be cool 2 see what they come up w/ 💡
 
📚😊 I'm so bummed about the Library Company merging with Temple University 🤔! As a format freak, I love the idea of keeping all those historical archives and research programs intact 🔍💡, but at the same time, I get why they had to do it 💸. The thought of that vast collection of books and manuscripts being absorbed into a bigger institution is kinda scary 😬. But hey, if it means preserving their legacy for future generations 🌟, then I'm all for it 👍! Maybe they can even make the new library super visually appealing with some sleek design elements 🏢👀...
