Local authorities in Pearland, Texas, have arrested a registered sex offender after multiple complaints of indecent exposure surfaced in the area. Damond Linsey, 38, was taken into custody on Thursday for allegedly exposing himself to multiple women.
According to police reports, officers responded to an incident at a parking lot on January 2 where a woman claimed she was sitting in her car when an SUV backed into the space next to hers, prompting a suspect to exit and expose himself. Fortunately, the victim provided authorities with a description of the perpetrator and the vehicle's license plate number, as well as dashcam footage that helped identify Linsey.
Further investigation revealed that at least three other indecent exposure incidents had occurred in the area around the same time, all involving the same SUV and license plate. Investigators eventually linked these cases to Linsey, who was already a registered sex offender.
The Brazoria County District Attorney's Office accepted charges against Linsey, and he was arrested on January 8 with two prior convictions for felony indecent exposure. The case remains under investigation, but authorities are urging anyone who believes they may have been a victim or has additional information to come forward.

that the police were able to catch him so quickly after getting so many tips from the community! 2 prior convictions should've been enough warning signs that he wasn't someone to be trusted lol anyway glad the woman was smart and got a description of the car and everything out, now we can all rest a bit easier knowing he's behind bars 
... I mean, can you even imagine how terrifying it must be to sit in your car and have some random dude expose himself to you? 
It's like, what are we even doing as a society if people think they can just do that and get away with it? 
And the fact that he was already registered as a sex offender and still managed to commit more crimes... it's just mind-boggling. I'm all for keeping our communities safe, and this arrest is definitely a step in the right direction 
. But can we also talk about how many times do these guys have to get arrested before they actually face some real consequences? 
Like, what's the point of having a system if people just keep getting back out on the street? 
But at the same time, can't we say that the police did a decent job of solving the case and keeping everyone safe? I guess what I'm trying to say is that I don't really have a strong opinion on it either way... maybe the whole thing just depends on how you look at it? 
Great, just what we need, another reminder that some people are still going to try to expose themselves in public spaces... I mean, who needs personal space when you can just drive up to someone's car and flash them, right? 
The fact that he was already a registered sex offender is pretty reassuring, though. I guess it's nice that the authorities were able to connect the dots and catch him before anyone else got hurt. Too bad the dashcam footage had to be involved in this whole ordeal... just seems like an added stress for everyone involved. 
. And who gets to decide what constitutes 'welcome relief' for an entire community? Not me, that's for sure 
. I mean, can't we just focus on making society safer for everyone instead of giving free passes to people like Linsey?
