A Disturbing Morning on I-95: Road Rage Shooting Leaves Injured Driver in Northeast Philly
Early Sunday morning, a horrific incident unfolded on Interstate 95 in Northeast Philadelphia. The chaos began when the driver of a silver Honda Accord, fueled by road rage, fired multiple shots from a semiautomatic pistol at another vehicle – a brown Honda CRV near the Cottman Avenue exit – leaving one person injured.
The unsuspecting passenger in the CRV suffered a gunshot wound to the arm and was rushed to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital by the driver. Miraculously, the passenger received treatment but details about their condition remain scarce due to police discretion.
As a result of the shooting, sections of I-95 were closed for nearly four hours until 11:45 a.m., bringing morning commuters to a standstill. The Accord was later discovered parked outside a home on Sheffield Street in Northeast Philadelphia at around 8:50 a.m. A man and woman were taken into custody following a search warrant. Authorities found evidence linking the Honda Accord to the shooting.

like who does that on i95? it's so reckless and senseless... road rage is getting out of control in philly and we need to do something about it 
i feel bad for the person who got shot, thank god they're gonna be okay 
but this makes me wanna check my gun locks like, multiple times a day now 
Luckily the other guy is okay after getting medical attention, but can you imagine if it were worse? The authorities are being super cautious with their info tho - only saying they have evidence linking the Accord to the shooting. Fingers crossed the bad guy gets caught ASAP 
. Can't people just calm down and drive safely? It's crazy that someone would resort to violence on the roads. And what's up with these gun-wielding drivers, firing shots at innocent people? It's so reckless and thoughtless! I mean, think about it - you're driving, going 70 miles per hour, and then suddenly you just start shooting? What's in your head? 
I'm also weirded out by the fact that the Accord was parked outside someone else's house after the shooting. Wasn't it checked for evidence or something? I guess that's just another aspect of the crazy situation 
like how does someone just lose their cool on a Sunday morning and start shooting at another car?! 
, this is just crazy! I mean, can't we all just calm down on the roads? 
Road rage is literally a thing now... it's like, what's going on people?! 
. And now there are people in custody, but what about those who might've been driving by and seen the whole thing? Shouldn't we be looking out for each other on the roads instead of turning into gun-wielding maniacs? 
I guess you never know what's gonna happen on the highway, but come on! 
can u believe the guy was drivin around with a gun and just start shootin without no warning? 
hopefully he gets a good sentence and reflects on his actions, its all too easy 2 become violent and violent acts dont solve nothin 
I'm glad the police were able to find evidence and take some people in custody, but this is still super disturbing. We need to think of ways to prevent these kinds of incidents from happening again!

. Four hours of closure on I-95 is a nightmare for morning commuters, though. Hopefully, whoever was driving that Accord gets some serious help for their anger issues 
. This just brings back memories of all those crazy road rage incidents from back in the day...anyway, fingers crossed the authorities catch the person responsible and bring 'em to justice
